I wrote to Carbonite and Citrix today, both products we use at my software company and I also use personally. I informed them that we will not be renewing any of the 40 or so subscriptions from here forward, and that subscriptions to their services will no longer be allowed as reimbursable employee expenses.

When one speaks to 20 million people a day, like Rush does, one (Rush) has the bully pulpit! People leaving Carbonite in droves. I got Carbonite a couple of years back, based on Rush's recommendation, but I dropped them about a year ago.

Excellent work. I wish I was in the position to make a similar stand.
Next question is, which of the options to say Carbonite are companies with sound conservative values? Anyone know or is being "not Carbonite" or "not Citrix" good enough?
