Yep. Sadly these “pro freedom” scumbags like Anonymous are the ones who threaten our freedom the most due to the fact that they provide the reason for government crackdowns.
If I were a wannabe dictator in a somewhat free country, I would quietly support this sort of thing to make the victims of hacking more likely to support giving up their freedom.

FireFox has a VERY Scary add on now that can show you the web you are weaving for yourself as you surf - it is called “Collusion” - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/collusion/
I have blocked many many cookies and scripts, and I still am in a huge web shown by Collusion. There is no such thing as being able to do things on the web privately now, it seems to me now.
