check out the remarks above for the liberal apologists for Ed Schultz, who unlike Rush, did engage in a direct PERSONAL ATTACK on a fellow professional political commentator

Schultz also apologized but apparently some apologies are accepted and some are “too little too late”

Shame on NEWT and Mitt and Boner and the rest of those GOP weasels for not calling a spade a spade on this “get-Rush” campaign

I thought Newt ate David Gregory's lunch on the Flute issue yesterday on "Meet the Press."

The most obnoxious person I've heard on the issue is Peggy Noonan who has outlasted her relevancy.

I don’t think newt likes rush very much. Earlier in the primary race, newt was emailing rush to have him announce or explain things to his audience, which rush did a few times. I think newt was hoping to snag rush’s audience and possibly rush’s first primary endorsement. But when newt started slipping down, rush did not come to his defense. I see newt as kissing liberal butt on this issue and I find it disappointing, if typical for the needy guy who needs to be popular.
