NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

I have used a few of these. Need that list propagated far and wide in conservative circles. They can rely on the parasites for business.

You are absolutely right! I’m so tired here with all this and didn’t think when I posted before. You are so correct, Where was NOW? Where were concerted efforts on the left to get him thrown off the air? Where was the outrage when Bill Mahr called Sarah Plain a twat? There was none.

David Letterman is in the hot seat for several crude jokes he made on CBS’ “The Late Show” about Sarah Palin and her teenage daughter.
Letterman, in his monologue Monday night, noted that the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate attended a Yankees game during a trip to New York City, where she was honored by a special needs group. Letterman referred to Palin, Alaska’s governor, as having the style of a “slutty flight attendant.”
The “Late Show” host also took a shot Palin’s daughter, while poking fun at the Yankees’ third baseman.
“One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game,” Letterman said, “during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”
The daughter was Willow Palin and she was 14 years old. That abhorrent joke was about statutory rape and the Palin’s daughter was it’s victim. I think Letterman later did apologize but I’m not certain the Palin’s accepted it.
Again, the source was both ABC and Fox. I just did a Google search for the information.

Me too and I closed my account already. I got a lousy form letter that made me mad. Here it is: Thank you for your feedback. We spend our advertising dollars across a wide spectrum of media channels. When mailing other companies that quit advertising over this, I reminded them that Conservatives and Republicans typically have more disposable income and so they have upset the wrong portion of the population.
That was in addition to demanding to know where I can return all the Select Comfort products I’ve purchased. Can’t wait to get a response to that email.
Okay, I have time and will do this. The advertisors we’ve used or were about to use were ProFlowers, Sleep Number Bed and Legalzoom. Can do that tomorrow. Will make me feel good too.

Fast forward to their March 2012 sales reports, when it dawns on them that conservative Rush listeners make/spend money, while OWS “customers” aren’t actually customers... they only know how to whine about Limbaugh on Facebook from their mothers’ basements and their cubicles at liberal activist groups.
I agree they are only hurting themselves...why? 99% of the people who would leave Rush in protest - simply are not listeners!
So the companies who do leave will be cutting themselves off from the huge volume of faithful listeners - like me - who don’t care if he went to far......how often do liberals go too far with no consequences?????
Oh, been with Rush about as long as FR - 1990......when I was a young man!

I changed the call sign and hosts and sent it to WIBC 93.1.
I used them one time when they first started . I paid $ 100 for a funeral arrangement that never showed up . They sent me a $ 25 gift certificate . Never used it .
You are not alone. I too have been boycotting Tysons since Bubba was elected.
Rush doesn’t need any defense. Although slamming his ex-sponsors is really another thing. But Rush is going to make a lot of hay out of this. One poster already suggested one way he will use this to his advantage. He can underscore just how useless apologies are at calming and appeasing savages.
All the Bigs are exactly alike. I know there is supposed to be an overhaul of the Bigs, that Andrew had been working on it. But right now all the Bigs are just redirecting to Breitbart.com, and there is no breitbart t.v.
I miss Andrew like a brother I didn’t know very well because he moved out of the house when I was only six years old.
