Contra Michigan, early voting may save Santorum in TN. Basically a 3 way tie among election day voters, but he's up with early ones.
Santorum tied Paul for delegates, but that was for a long-distant 2nd place, with Romney getting 30. They are unbound, for those who care.
Paul and Rick got 5 each?
After Michigan/Arizona. He got 50,000 more votes than Gingrich in Arizona, and 240,000 more votes than Gingrich in Michigan. Michigan had a LOT more voters than South Carolina — they just lost half their delegates because SC gets “favored” status while Michigan had to sacrifice half their delegates to move their primary up.
So with Michigan/Arizona, Santorum finally made up the 300,000 vote deficit he had from the Florida primary.
Santorum now has 1,071K votes, to GIngrich 978K.

The Missouri was nothing more than a beauty contest absolutely nothing was decided. The DELEGATE will be Decided on Mar 17. Course there still Non-Binding.

according to RCP, Newt still lead after Mich and Arizona by about 50 thousand.
Not sure where you got your figures.
Charley, I know nothing about PPP- other than what was posted by others. I posted Ras- The polls don’t seem to reflect a surge for Newt in Tenn- but I am always hopeful.

Red- the better news is what I heard from Newt on Washington Journal. He said, given his anticipated victory in Ga, there’s no reason for him even to consider dropping out.
Romney’s support is thin- and if Newt stays the course for the next few months— an opportunity may open up for him.
Granted, Newt’s odds are long at present- but if Romney stumbles, Mitt can crater just like the others did.
Given the dynamics of this particular race, one can lose momentum rapidly, and one can catch a wave overnight (Newt SC).
And he still won a mandate in Missouri.
OR, if Sarah is in Newts camp as suspected, why doesn’t she do the right thing and make a formal endorsement?
Newt is surging! He’s gonna pick up lots of delegates Tuesday, March 10 and March 13. This isn’t over by a long shot!
I agree. Newt needs a major game changer. Sarah's endorsement or agreeing to the VP nod would be an earthquake.
Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

OK, I checked. Wikipedia is counting the Missouri Primary. It was just a "beauty contest", but so are the votes in most of the caucuses. RCP isn't counting it, because it wasn't part of the official caucus.
I think you should either count all the "sanctioned straw poll" votes, or none of them. However, I don't know if the official Missouri Caucus will include a straw poll. If not, the primary was the "straw poll" -- if they do, then skipping the primary makes sense.
Anyway, that's where the difference is. WIkipedia isn't the only place that is counting the missouri primary, but RCP isn't.
He was looking to borrow Ricks Perrys Delegate and maybe some of Newts in CD3. Then Newt’s CD2 up and Defected to Santorum.
But Rick Perry is now supporting Newt. He does not have to give them to Santorum.
The Conservative are killing ourselves with the thousand cuts.
IN the ARG poll, 20% of those who said they would vote said they had already voted. I don’t know if 20% is considered light or heavy.
