Rush Limbaugh apologized on Saturday for calling a Georgetown Law student a slut for testifying about contraception and starting a firestorm of outrage. Kirsten Powers says the liberals who led the charge need to start holding their own side accountable.

Yes, and Rush ruined the entire high ground on the contraceptive argument for conservatives, because Fluke never mentioned her own sex life, or her own use of contraceptives. Fluke only talked about other women, listing the stories of six different women (none her) as examples.
Even though Fluke never mentioned her own sex life, or whether she was straight, or whether she had sex, or whether she was on contraceptives, Limbaugh said about Fluke: "she's having so much sex she can't pay for it, and we should."
Limbaugh said: "So the woman comes forth with this frankly hilarious claim that she's having so much sex" that she cant' afford it. But she never made that claim.
He asked, "didn't anyone ever tell her: "did you ever think about maybe backing off the amount of sex that you have?"" I could go on. He specially called her a slut and a prostitute, multiple times.
Before Limbaugh spoke, conservatives had the high ground on this issue, because Obama was forcing Roman Catholic healthcare plans to pay for contraceptives against religious beliefs (same for other religious plans and other religious beliefs). The Fluke testimony was a draw. Then Limbaugh called her a slut and a prostitute, and anyone who has read or listened to her testimony knows she never spoke about her own life. Limbaugh had to apologize and lost advertisers. Fluke has supporters. Conservatives lost the high ground on the contraceptive/Obamacare issue.
All because Rush wanted to be cute and call that leftist Fluke a slut and a prostitute, over and over. And here on FR people repeated it and called Fluke 'round-heeled' and other names. And although Fluke was clearly a set-up, and has been attacking Georgetown's policy since she enrolled . . . Fluke's own sex life has never been disclosed. Rush blew it.

You may be right. I really don’t care. She was spouting off slutty testimony (in reality it was probably all made up stories).
It doesn’t matter to me. The garbage that was said about conservative women pale in comparison to this latest controversy.
With this MO; she 'could' be a MORMON.
The ones we've seen on FR lately, when talking up their religion, seem to hit on Christian themes in MORMONism and NEVER manage to mention anything uniquely MORMON.
