That is all well and good, and I do a lot of it onto
USB thumb drives, but that is no good if your house burns down, or some thief cleans you out.
I like an alternative and CURRENT copy of my entire computer’s contents being always available from an alternate location.

Much to the consternation of many of my family and friends, and perhaps it's my Feb 29 Pisces, or I really DO trust Jesus .. I don't lock house nor car, have lived for all my years without homeowner's ins., pretty much whistle my way through (and around?) life ... (oh yeah .. and I got took in twice .. once with AMWAY and the other Y2K) ... I don't much give a shit about what's in my computer.

Important papers are hard copied with a copy to my trusted daughter and husbamd/family, and my money is more electronic than real ... I don't think I'd (we'd) be devastated for that long if a fire took the house, and burglers might wipe me out for about 10 or 12 large ... (taking my '99 Subaru, this 'puter, an old e-machine, a fax and the pile of firewood) ... I guess I just don't worry that much and wonder why people do.
