Carbonite does a lot of advertising on the progressive station where I live. I think they know how valuable all the info on those liberal laptops cluttering Starbucks is assumed to be.
“Agreeing” is not “idolizing.”
You wanna play paddy-cake with these people, you go ahead. Don’t expect those of us that could articulate conservative values before Rush showed up to drink your koolaid.
They did not look at the logic independently. They ass-u-me’d that if Rush was calling Fluke a personal slut then the logic added up, without following it themselves. Nothing has turned up to suggest Fluke had, or personally claimed to have, the kind of love life in school that would have called for a $3000 budget.
Thanks for the laughs this evening. You are quite witty..
:)
Great story; thx for sharing. I could ‘see’ everything in my mind’s eye; so that is good writing.
You are trying to parse what “is” is.
No, I am following the dictionary definition of “be.” “To sympathize” does not come under “to be.”
When I got home I could not wait to tell my wife. "Honey, there is a guy on the radio that you will swear is me or my twin brother.
Only after a brief absence before he went national, I have listened each day. Not because I agree with him. Because he agrees WITH ME.
I felt the issue was a diversion from the beginning, so I never got tied into knots about it.
Yes, Fluke’s statements are indeed outrageous, but just another distraction from the economy.
If we want the Country back, we, the candidates, the talkers all need to be disciplined about focusing our attention on the winning issues. Am I saying Social issues are unimportant, and should be deferred? No, absolutely not. Let’s just make sure we take the lead on the issues we want to bring forward instead of being reactionaries to the diversions planted by the Left.
To put this into context, the issue of abortion is far more egregious than Fluke’s salvo, and yet we can argue on behalf of nascent life without losing our balance.
Let’s give Rush the chance to work through this.
Flukes was a total “Maire Antoinette.”
As Rush often says... they'll tell you what they are afraid of...and they were terrified of this one judging by their efforts to punish him for talking about it.
Start calling these numbers
WILD THEORY
Is it conceivable that Rush was set up?
I dont know about his daily pre-show prep. I know he’s had Issa on the show before. And - Fluke has been in the news since last Friday (Feb 23) - So Rush had to have some indication of who she was and what she might be saying (if she had testified on Feb 23)
Perhaps theres a mole at EIB who KNEW Rush was going to use the slut thing last week...(and didnt since she did not testify.)
Pelosi - gets tipped off by the mole. - Nervous about the Sherrif Joe investigation - she calls the “informal” hearing - as bait - because she already knows what Rush is planning. Completely overshadows Joe - and causes negative publicity for Conservatives...and EIB.
>> If it had been me I might have been even more to the point and said sorry for calling Fluke personally a “slut”
It can be difficult to maintain personal regard for one’s political adversaries. And the Left knows this intentionally deploying the issues that challenge the civility, the peace, the perception of Conservatives.
Team Obama has been baiting the Right since day one. Its psy-ops portfolio is no doubt bulging with plans to derail the our chances for 2012. Given the results, I’m concerned.

We’re still engaged in Operation Fluke. Let’s not disassemble.
LMAO!!! That gets my “esoteric humor award” for the night!!!
When all is “said and done,” Rush may actually BE “Mr New Castrati!!!”
>> Is it conceivable that Rush was set up?
Perhaps indirectly. See my post #95.
I bet we agree our greatest liability is dissension from within. And my only comment to you is not to get discouraged.
I seriously doubt that this would have been the end of the Rush Limbaugh show. I tend to think there are sponsors waiting for ads on his program. Right now it is enmeshed with political spots. There are only so many advertising spots available around a show - I used to sell ads for a local radio show, so, I know what I’m talking about.
Wow. I haven't thought about that in a long time. Gonna order myself a bunch of spat city spatulas.
