Mitt Romney has won the Republican caucuses in Washington state, according to a CNN projection.
With 43 percent of precincts reporting, Mitt Romney leads with 37 percent of the vote in Washington state, followed by Ron Paul and Rick Santorum with 24 percent, and Newt Gingrich with 11 percent. Go to the Tumblr page of the Washington state Republican Party for the latest results. CNN projected Romney as the state's winner at 5:49 p.m. Pacific Time

[ Its simple. ]
So true.. Santo and Willard are pro-Union... its simple..
The Unions are at least half of AMericas problems currently..
ONLY Newt has a prayer of fixing anything..
Any that vote for these two guys are creating problems..
Compounded with the fact they very well may not win anyway..
Bunch of liberals anyway.
See what I mean?
If Santorum was really treated as harshly by the media as true conservative threats are, then everyone would know that ‘Mr. Super Catholic’ only became pro-life to run for office (like Romney), yet you have never heard a peep about it.
How does CNN project the bloodbath coming on Tuesday?
You'd think with the rise of the Tea Party people would be a little more aware. It seems so stupid to nominate someone with socialized healthcare on his resume, after so much fuss was made about it.
Nobody believes you because we don’t trust you or like you, and we don’t trust Rick or like him.
How’s that for ironic, huh?
Newt attacked from the left? Only if you don’t think that Mitt is to capitalism as Fred Phelps is to Christianity.
NOW, your conclusion - it’s my fault.
Thank you, cretin, for your “brilliant” analysis.
Wouldn’t you think that Romney’s whole premise for winning was dependent originally on a continuing split among conservative intraparty rivals?
“It seems so stupid to nominate someone with socialized healthcare on his resume, after so much fuss was made about it.’
Freaking unbelievable!
I think the projection is Mittens in VT, VA, and MA; Newt in GA, and Santorum in OK and TN, with only OH in question, but leans Romney. Romney could knock out both Gingrich and Santorum next Tuesday. Had TX had the March 6 primary as originally planned, everthing might have come out differently. But I don’t think Perry can hold TX for Gingrich, now having to wait until May 29.
Very well said and unfortunately quite true. I've lamented the dwindling number of posters on FR as of late and I'm sure that's the reason. People come here to talk about issues and yeah rail against the injustices but the petty viscious stuff really is a turnoff.
It’s not unbelievable to a poorly informed Republican primary voter who just sits back and takes dictation from the party’s past losers on who they should support. Many people don’t like to make their own choices: prefer to do as Bob Dole, John McPain, and GHWB suggest.
Santorum was kicked out of office in a record breaking landslide, don’t try to compare it to other people losing 1 and 2% races.
Santorum was humiliated with an 18 point loss, even white Catholics only gave him 42% of their vote.
When did OH lean Romney, today?
“Santorum voters were NOT allowed to enter to vote”
huh? Like the media you are writing your own headline to suit your purpose. There was nobody at the door checking who we were going to vote for in the large South King County caucus location I went to. I was the acting PCO and took count of the votes on my table, and yes there were Santrum voters there.
Why is this news? Washington State is full of leftists.
The news is Santorum manged to get 24% of the vote and that UberRich FLip-flopping Leftist only got little more than 1/3.
I just saw Brett Baer on Fox mention to Ron Paul that he finally ran an anti-Romney ad in Washington. Paul of course went into his denial of any favoritism toward Romney and then promptly proceeded to prove the previous claim against him by singling Santorum out as a “fake”. Too funny. Maybe Paul’s real purpose in this race is to make people hate Romney less because in comparison to Paul, he’s pretty likeable.
I was wondering the same thing.
“With the exception of Arizona, as Romney won any state that McCain carried in the general election? “
Stupid question. Only three states have voted that McCain carried (McCain did not carry many states) and those are SC, AZ and WY. Mitt got 2 out of 3.
