Newt Gingrich has turned his sights on Rick Santorum in a new robocall going out to Oklahoma and Tennessee voters, bashing the former Pennsylvania senator as having cozied up to the labor union bosses.
The ad will reach 150,000 voters in each of the states, according to ABC News.
On the campaign trail, Rick Santorum talks a good game about his blue-collar roots, and about being for the average family, a female narrator says. But heres the record Rick Santorum doesnt want you to know about: As a senator from Pennsylvania, Santorum cozied up to the labor union bosses, and voted for the AFL-CIO, and against a national right-to-work bill that would have let workers opt out of paying union dues union dues that hurt families and small businesses.

He was only acting as an infiltrator. /sarc
Get with it.
Did he cozy up to them on a sofa?
And are we talking about Rick Santorum, the devout Catholic who didn’t get the Catholic vote in Michigan, who Time Mag named “one of the top 25 most influential evangelicals in America.”
Santo and Willard are pro Union...
WHich shows they leaning right of Obama but not very far right..
The Unions are half of whats wrong with America..
Therefore Santo and Willard are more than half of whats wrong with America..
Zero is 100% of whats wrong..
Republicans voting for Santo or Willard are stuck on stupid..
ONLY Newt has a plan to fix anything.. and being the whore that he is..
Even thats chancy..
“Why cant he just bash Romney and Obama?”
I suppose you were okay with Rick bashing Newt when Mitt was the obvious target and the front runner at the time. Some of us questioned Ricks motives at the time. With his limited resources it did not seem like a smart move.
Relying on Time Magazine for your political commentary these days? Are they still in print?
PA has 800,000 union members, about fifth nationally. HI and AK are also heavily unionized.
This is Newt Country!
Santorum voted for govt control of wages and he voted to raise the minimum wage. What does that tell you?
Slight correction. Gingrich, Santorum and supporters of both Gingrich and Santorum are splitting the conservative vote ... If candidates should drop out based on polls then Santorum should have dropped out long ago. So as it turns out stubborn conservatives will be responsible for nominating a RINO.
I think this is the correct scenario. Ultimately though, our little Republican primary voters are just unwilling to buck McPain, Dole, and GHWB. They need "assurance" that they are doing the right thing in backing Mittens.
Same old constant crap from you. This is a lie ... Gingrich carries double-digit lead into Georgia primary
I won't vote for RS or MR..it's Newt or noone

I’d suggest that the poster was drunk, but we both know it posts such idiocy 24/7.
Oh well. Newt just got another 4th place finish. Man he is racking up those last places. I guess desperation is in his blood.
Newt’s people in Tennesee are jumping ship and throwing their support to Rick Santorum : )

If he can’t take the heat Santorum should get out of the kitchen. His supporters too.
YEP, more solid delegates and more total voters. But shhh, don’t let that get around.....
TN ... not GA. And one ‘people’.
Wait until Newt gets another 76 from Georgia on tuesday:) will the RS supporters still be yelling for Newt to drop out?
