I don’t think the slut comment was the problem...it was when he suggested she make a film (porno) of her having sex so we know what we are paying for.....that part of the statement was the nasty one, not the name calling. She deserved the title.

Terribly disappointing.

I’ve tuned into him nearly every weekday, and gratefully so, since 1988.

We’ve all heard Rush hedge a little in the past, and at times more or less rearrange his phrasing or his stance on one issue or another.

But beyond that he was always the one guy who stood by the hard truth and at times the hard word.

Now he is no different from any other pol or bigmouth who, in the face of pressure, shrugs and says he didn’t mean it.

If he couldn’t take the heat from his sponsors and so on, then he shouldn’t have put himself out there, and us with him.

Very disappointed indeed. As a creature from the late 70’s my instinctive reaction is:

RUSH YOU IGNORANT SLUT!

IMHO Rush himself has sold out and capitulated himself into the theater of the bizarre for the sake of sponsorship and the almighty dollar.
