Rush did the right thing here.

He removed himself from the debate, while keeping his position on the issue intact.

The left was losing this debate bigtime until he used the word "slut".

Now let's go back to them losing again.

Refreshing to see at least one other on this thread that gets it and isn't responding with a DU level of intelligence. Still, though, the use of the word "slut" only accelerated their losing on the issue. It was something of a catalyst that enabled their simmering looniness and vicious character to rapidly foam up all out of bounds before they had a chance to reign in any of their more nutty folks like Sheila Jackson Lee. With less than 15 seconds of calm, off-hand comments Rush revealed the character of a significant portion of the leftist community. With a single paragraph in which he retracted none of his analysis of that community he gave them a form of what they claimed they wanted but not what they really wanted, which was his destruction and that of all other conservatives. It was a superb bit of work.

This, combined with the revelations of her fraud, the machinations of Obama, George Stephanopoulos, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Eleanor Holmes Norton, and their complete lack of outrage over their own folk's attribution of the slut and c*nt word to Sarah Palin and others, only serves to further light up the Left like a laser target for what we've got to do in November. Thanks, Rush, for a job well done!
