after a long heart&soul conversation with MittRomney today I concluded this goodman will properly represent we the people & I endorsed him
(Excerpt) Read more at politico.com ...
Why would he do that?
Pity; Romney’s no conservative.
I still like Jon Voight, and I still like Ted Nugent.
the road to hell is paced with good intentions. Good intention is not good enough. The person need to have the right solutions
The real pity is that with his big spending and statist ways, neither is Santorum. If you believe there is a moral component to conservatism, the serial infidelity of Gingrich excludes him as well. And if you believe a conservative needs a grown-up world view for foreign policy, Dr. Paul is out also.
The real pity is that there is no conservative in the race. It is a pity.
We’re handing Zero this election on a silver platter
And the dissapointments just keep on coming. McDonnell, Brewer and now this. I read “Ted, White and Blue”. You’d never suspect this endorsement after reading that.
Newt Gingrich had an epiphany. He had to, or he would have self-destructed.
As a small child he witnessed his father beating and abusing Newt’s mother. She divorced him, remarried, and Newt was adopted by his step dad. Later he was sexually molested by a high school teacher. Yeah, the first wife he married because she became pregnant. He felt obligated. She asked for the divorce, not him.
This man was carrying a troubled emotional burden while serving in Congress but he sought counseling, joined AA and eventually turned his life around after a religious conversion.
What I’ve found shocking is the enormous number of so-called Christians here at Free Republic who are nothing of the sort.
Christians are not better than other people. They forgive others, ask forgiveness for themselves, and try to lead a better life by not sinning further. I’m not disgusted with Newt Gingrich, who I believe has honestly changed his life. I’m disgusted with the bigots who claim they are Christian but do not put it into daily practice.
Ichhh!!!
Sure he did. I’ll bet a politician told you that.
I feel that every day.
The wild card is Gingrich.
He may be the radical, history making, right wing magician of old.
We know that Newt is one wild SOB, who knows how to shake up worlds, and is a (to quote Cool Hand Luke) “Natural Born World Shaker”.
No offense to Ted, but does his opinion really matter?
I,for one, dont need the encouragment of a celebrity to vote for or against. People whose every action hinges on what some singer or movie star says lives in a mental desert.
Sure he did. ...I’d rather have a politician that F***s than F***s up. With the added attraction that the ensconsed elites hate him and he finds them irrelevant.
No. It is well known that Gingrich had a religious conversion.
Though I myself seem immune to such things, I never doubt when others describe such peraonal events.
P.S.: I too, have committed a crime - after my mother died, I spread her ashes along the Oregon seashore per her wishes. Oh, well...
Yep. And it is one damned hard feeling to shake.
Ted jumping the shark!!!!
