I hadn't considered the environmental angle. I have been considering the liability suits that would arise from the gov't subsidizing/condoning/encouraging the risky lifestyle this woman appears to live. The pill does prevent pregnancy but doesn't protect women from STD's. I can see a woman suing the gov't for compensation because she contracted an STD engaging in federally-sponsored high risk behavior. I can even see her winning a huge settlement, considering the state of the courts nowadays...
