Why do I get the feeling this will someday end up being used as an excuse to attack Israel?
Biblical prophecy is never wrong, and it says someday Russia will attack Israel.

Does this mean the Pope gets his own navy as he had in 1571 and his own Army and Air Force too?

From what I've read Putin's mother was a devout Russian Orthodox. I'm sure Putin will do what he can to revive the church as long as the church doesn't get in his way.
Why on EARTH would we trust him?

Thanks for the offer, Vlad, but I think Jesus is able to handle his church okay all by himself.

The genocidal war criminal and persecutor of the Georgian Orthodox Church Putin is unfit to represent Christianity in any way. To even attach the infamous name of this evil monster Putin to the Christian faith is defamatory to Christianity. Christians and Christianity are not to blame for KGB Putin's heinous reign of terror.
