The GOP may, because the perception is that all Republicans want to ban birth control. A lot of women also don’t like seeing a slut called a slut.
From a pragmatic level, I can see why this could hurt the GOP. For a moral stand point, sometimes mockery is the best thing to do. We used to call it “shame”.

It would be the honest thing for you to do, since you seem unwilling to fight for the truth.

What the tactics of Saul Alinsky call "ridicule" is merely a weak imitation of exactly what rightly is called shame.
Do not let the left take ownership, by being afraid to shame those who are wrong.
Say it and practice getting comfortable saying it whenever the time is right:
"SHAME ON YOU!"
