A group of Democratic members of Congress are continuing the political war over contraception and the latest move puts House Speaker John Boehner on the spot. Seventy-five lawmakers are urging the speaker to "repudiate" comments made by conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
The Democrats signed a letter to the speaker over comments Limbaugh made on his show on Wednesday calling a Georgetown University law student and women's health advocate a "prostitute" and a "slut" after her testimony before a mock Congressional hearing on birth control coverage.
Using the airwaves to launch a "direct attack on a private citizen is unacceptable," New York Rep. Louise Slaughter wrote to Speaker Boehner. "Mr. Limbaugh repeatedly used sexually charged, patently offensive, and obscene language to malign the character of this courageous young woman who has chosen to be the voice for many of her peers," the letter said.
Boehner's spokesperson declined to comment on on the letter.

They sent her in because she could deliver the lines in the Democrat script without giggling.
I say that because for $1,000 you can outfit yourself with 11 condoms per day. If that's the needs base of 40% of Georgetown Law's females that leaves them precious little time to tend to basic needs and their johns. They won't be students for long!
Somebody said she probably thought she was talking about birth control pills, but even there she had no idea how cheap they were at Wal-Mart, or that they were actually FREE at a FREE CLINIC just off campus.
This woman is not a sexual being ~ or, her sex life veers off into venues beyond our imaginings.
Well if the show fits. She does want us to pay for her unlimited sex life FOR FREE
Her bio is interesting also. She has no credibility at all.
Go Rush!
These people don’t understand ~ I merely want all the Democrat women spayed ~ little enough to ask eh?!
Since never. :-)
I sent Darrell Issa an email today requesting that he renounce Rep Elijah Cumings for demanding that Issa renounce Rush Lambaugh for exercising his First Amendment rights.
Rush predicted this morning that Boehner would get a demand next, then Cantor, then maybe Huckabee would ask the GOP candidates about it at his candidate forum this weekend. Then maybe the WH would mention it in a speech. Rush should have added “don’t doubt me.”
The left has once again discovered Islamic style rage.
When they asked this female student if she were sexually active, did she reply, “No, I usually just lay there”,
Looks like Rachel Madcow. All liberal women seem to look manish like this.
I hope he goes back to it, rather than the GOP hack he’s been for the past 8 years or so.
You must not listen to the same Rush that I do.
She likes girls. She does not need the pill.
She has man hands
All the crap that we are facing as a people, and this is what the Democrats have?
We need free birth control?
Conservatives can hammer the Dems on this issue. Ask them how a girl attending college with no income and job go off having sex so frequently that she racks up a 3000+ dollar birth control pill costs??!!! The risky behavior opens the student to unwanted pregnancy and STD especially if it is done so frequently. This Georgetown witness is arguing that it is not for us to judge. Excuse me ma’am, if I am paying for it thru taxes I have the RIGHT to judge. She is suppose to be a ivy league college educated woman and she has the morals/judgement of an uneducated hedonists!!?? I am not very mad at her, but at her parents and the professors of Georgetown. What standards are they teaching her and bringing her up with??!!! The sad part is anyone who can rack up 3000 plus in birth control pills is leading a lifestyle that life in time will teach them hard lessons.
Probably a Lesbian and, thus, doesn’t need contraception.
Repudiate what? Why should I or anyone pay for a stranger to have sex? As an individual where is my exemption from buying insurance that covers contraception and abortions for others?

That would take some real balls something I am not sure Boehner has......but it sure would be fun!
Sandra wants me to help pay for her sex. That sounds like a creative way to solicit financing for her sexual services. She has to be breaking some law. Call it prostitution if you will, but the reason why she can’t collect enough to pay for her birth control is obvious. She should get into another trade.
If this Fluke tramp is a spokeswoman for her peers, then her peers are sluts, too. Rush is right.
Rush should try to get this letter and auction it off on eBay like he did with the “phoney soldier” letter that Harry (dinghy) Reid was circulating on Capitol hill several years ago.
And you hit on another important item. The fact that birth control pills offer NO protection against STDs.
And a chlamydia epidemic is raging across college campuses.
Heck, in 1988, one of my roomates was a major “male whore,” and managed to get chlamydia from 1 of 4 women he was screwing and passed it on to the other 3, including his ostensible girlfriend at home.

Two things.... One cannot "malign" something that does not exist. The "young woman" is obviously a pathological liar hence she has no "character" and two.... I have no doubt there are a host of "sluts and prostitutes" she's using her voice to represent. It doesn't make Rush wrong.
Lets also not forget that Rush too is a "private citizen" and as such free to exercise his first amendment rights of both freedom of speech and the press.
