I would say that would answer the question.
Never had any experience with it myself (that I know of).

whats the official Catholic position on demon possession these days?It still exists. Satan is alive and well on planet earth! Diabolical possession is probably less frequent than obsession...but I don't follow Hollyweird anymore...so there could be more possession there.

I find it funny that those who support chopping up babies for medical experiments find the mass barbaric. I guess if this is civilization I will be the barbarian.

Perhaps Mr. Doyle does not understand that God will not be mocked. Prayers for his sick and twisted soul.

Yes. Every rite of Baptism, n fact, includes an exorcism, though in abbreviated form. I recited exorcism prayers just last Monday, outside of an abortion clinic. Satan is real, powerful, personal, and wants to destroy you, me, and everybody you love, body and soul.
BTW, This is an unpaid, apolitical announcement.

One of the tenets of a Biblical Worldview is that Satan is real and a force in this world to contend with.
I was referring specifically to demonic “possession”, and I didn’t know whether possession and exorcism were still recognized in the RCC.

May Jesus, the Christ knock down Mr. Doyle as He did with St. Paul and reveal Himself to him.

Oh, yes. Every diocese has an official (trained) exorcist for dealing with demonic posession, oppression, and influences. It’s real and it is not trivial.

Amen!
Jesus showed St. Paul so much love by knocking him down and enlightening him like that. It totally changed the course of Saul's/Paul's life, and ended up giving us most of the books of the New Testament.
So I agree with your petition, and so with all the Christian love I can possibly muster for this Doyle at the moment, I would want Jesus to enlighten Doyle even more than he did St. Paul, by picking Doyle up again and knocking him down again a few extra times. (Really enlighten him good.)
:-)

"@JesseRimshas Its satire. Its showing Santorum what his religion looks like, filtered through his lens of other beliefs."Somehow I doubt that. Doyle just brings up too many convenient liberal talking points.
