Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says the United States must be prepared to use missile strikes and air strikes against the Iranians if they continue their nuclear weapons development program.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV on the eve of the Michigan and Arizona primaries, Santorum was asked what actions he would take today to address the Iranian nuclear threat.

“I would work hand in glove with the Israelis trying to discern the state of the Iranian nuclear program and then I would take actions accordingly,” he says.

Our main objective should be to focus on American independence of foreign oil ( away from Iran, Irag, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Venezuela), getting our fiscal house in order, repairing the unconstitutional polices of Obama. Israel should be able to take care of Iran and if it need be as Newt has said, the US would back them. The US should not do a preempted strike or even suggest this as he has. Very immature.
