Rick Santorum and his family discuss the decision to run for President on GBTV

Kind of gives you a different perspective of him. There are other videos of his interview with Glenn Beck at the link, scroll down the page.

PPP? Who in their right mind would believe a PPP poll?

In the ARG poll, "Santorum leads Romney 38% to 31% among men... Romney leads Santorum 40% to 33% among women"

Santorum supporters better take notice! Even in 2000, when he easily won reelection to the Senate, he still lost among women. It was his 57% of men's votes that got him reelected.

However, in his 2006 18-point implosion, he lost 61% of women.

He cannot win nationally without nearly splitting the women's vote unless he can mirror Obama's advantage there with men's votes. W was able to do that in 2000, probably helping Rick get reelected, but Santorum lacks W's personal likability and, most importantly, is more strident on women and "women's issues." He won't be helped by his own book's harsh words for women who work outside the home. It was used against him in 2006 to excellent effect.

He looks like a nomination time bomb.

This survey sounds bogus to me. If you ask whether social or economic issues are more important, then people who are feeling the pain or are out of jobs will probably say economic.

After all, “social issues” is kind of a vague term.

But if you ask them whether they would vote for a baby killer who wants to train kids in kindgarten to be gay, their response might be different.

Or if you ask them whether they would want to vote for an honest politician who understands the difference between right and wrong, or a lying crook who could care less, they’d probably choose the first. Well, that’s pretty much what “social issues” means.

Politicians who don’t give a damn how many babies are killed are unlikely to be very trustworthy on other issues, including economic issues. They may talk the talk, but how can you trust someone without any moral values?

Abortion is killing a lot of people in Michigan and everywhere else, every day. There will be no economic relief while we are destroying our future economic agents before they are even born.

The world can put that in their issue pipes and smoke it.

I was at a Santorum event in Lansing today. There was very little talk from Santorum on social issues. The media in the tank for Romney are trying to push this on us.

Santorum spent his time talking about energy, regulations, manufacturing, and the differences between him and the Obama administration.

If a candidate is not sound on social issues, his promises will mean little on economic issues.

I think most people agree with what Santorum is saying when it comes to social issues. Most people are socially conservative.

How long have we waited for someone who will address social issues? And here we are repeating the MSM’s view of this as if it were straight from the gods of Conservatism.

Simply amazing...

The MSM is the entity that can’t wrap it’s pea brain around social conservatism.

Abortion, homosexuality, did we really expect the media to weigh in on Santorum’s views favorable? No. But as Conservatives we shouldn’t lament what talking about these issues results in. We should instead be championing this, and encouraging others to join us.

Instead we lament Santorum’s “unfortunate” comments. Unfortunate to who? God, or someone else?

Sounds exactly what the liberals and MSM would say, and what some Newt supporters are saying.
Looks like they are all working on the same team to help Mitt Romney.

Who would have though among some area's of Conservatism that conservatives would actually attack Christians and other conservatives for their beliefs.

Some conservatives and Newt supporters are playing right into the liberal's and MSM hands.. they are being manipulated...

Also, we can't expect Newt to help out Rick Santorum in Michigan, Newt was on the attack on Rick today in Tennessee.

I do know this, IF... and a big IF and God forbid ( is the word God, and Christian allowed to be spoken around here anymore ? ) God forbid that Mitt Romney wins in Michigan tomorrow, there will be no one but Newt Gingich, Newt's money man Adelson, and the Newt supporters to blame for a Mitt Romney GOP nominee.

All their empty rhetoric of " Anyone but Romney " has been just that.... EMPTY RHETORIC !

Apparently Santorum is ignorant of the difference between a rightful separation between church and state and a correct influence between faith and state.

The idea the Vatican would have a say in American politics is chilling. JFK was right. Santorum is dangerously wrong.
