I remember the uproar over the first "Girls Gone Wild" videotapes. People really were upset. Times certainly have changed. Witness the cover of the new Sports Illustrated "Swimsuit" issue on stands now at the grocery store. It's revealing enough to make a grown woman blush or angry. Or both.
So are the very public spectacles that have unfolded in the last three weeks. First, one of the most conservative board members of the Susan G. Komen Foundation was wildly applauding the organization for cutting off funding to Planned Parenthood. That was until public opinion swamped Komen and the board member in question resigned.
Then, a Republican lawmaker in Indiana attacked Girl Scouts, claiming that organization is a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood. Wow. I'll bet the millions of former Scouts, many of whom are lifelong Republicans, never dreamed they were doing anyone's political bidding when they were 12.
These are the same mothers who, for the last decade or longer, have encouraged their daughters to play Little League baseball. Should that organization be worried?
These attacks on women are not one-of-a-kind events. They are national in scope. What's clear is this: These chilling offensives are meant to demonize women, . . .

Hah. Never mind, the quote doesn’t apply. I was working off memory, but when I read it, it applies to religion.
Well, on second thought, Liberism IS a religion...
This is a corollary to Alinsky’s rule #5 about ridicule being man’s most potent weapon, the corollary being you just make ridiculous stuff up if you don’t have anything else.
Democrats go to extremes to make sure that women aren't born in the first place through contraception, abortion, or partial birth abortion. If they live through a botched abortion the Democrats want a doctor to snuff out her life. As she grows, the Democrats want her indoctrinated into the lesbian life style. If she doesn't become a lesbian, the Democrats want her to use contraceptives so that she can have multiple partners and get STDs, or have abortions so that she can go sterile. The Democrats just LOVE women.
It doesn't matter whether those "views" involve religion or politics or whatever. I think the point is that you should respect the right of another to hold their own views, without having to agree with them.
But today, some on the Left not only seek to demonize conservative viewpoints, or disparage those who hold them - but actively seek to criminalize ideas they loathe.
Their brains work different then most folks..
I could have sworn the babes of distress these days are both spouses of democRats.. Lockyer and Mirkarimi.. but they’re not being demonized, just bruised and battered.. so that’s OK.

We were discussing the Swim Suit issue of SI last week at the barber shop and determined that “some things” are impervious to “the curse”.
Democrats go to extremes to demonize regular americans.
Two Words: Sarah Palin.
Yeah, the liberals never demonize any woman.
The American press is like a getaway car driver for Democrat bank robbers.
“I didn’t kill those people or steal that money, I just helped them get away with it.”
Why would a grown woman either blush of be angry over the artistry of the cosmetic surgeon and the PhotoShop expert who produced that photo? More importantly, why is that cover relevant to the right's (strongly supportive) stance on women or the left's anti-everything stance?
He lives in Laguna Beach and writes for the San Francisco Chronicle. You do the math.
Projection. Every time one of these Alinskyite agitators opens his mouth, his intentions fall out.
I would never look at that magazine, well... except to read the articles, but that’s all.
The neuterization brigade in this country is trying its best to turn women into men. Oppose their agenda, and you’re “demonizing” women. I guess I was demonizing my grandmother by appreciating her Christian moral standards and her being a stay-at-home mother.
I won't post their "Athletes in Bodypaint" from the same issue, because there wasn't much to read.
Oh wait...they juxtaposed Christian with bitches so it's no big deal.
never mind.
