I remember the uproar over the first "Girls Gone Wild" videotapes. People really were upset. Times certainly have changed. Witness the cover of the new Sports Illustrated "Swimsuit" issue on stands now at the grocery store. It's revealing enough to make a grown woman blush or angry. Or both.
So are the very public spectacles that have unfolded in the last three weeks. First, one of the most conservative board members of the Susan G. Komen Foundation was wildly applauding the organization for cutting off funding to Planned Parenthood. That was until public opinion swamped Komen and the board member in question resigned.
Then, a Republican lawmaker in Indiana attacked Girl Scouts, claiming that organization is a tactical arm of Planned Parenthood. Wow. I'll bet the millions of former Scouts, many of whom are lifelong Republicans, never dreamed they were doing anyone's political bidding when they were 12.
These are the same mothers who, for the last decade or longer, have encouraged their daughters to play Little League baseball. Should that organization be worried?

Example: The Susan Komen organization did not reverse its decision because of "public opinion". It did so because of massive pressure from Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and other powerful elements within the pro-abortion lobby.

Then there is the cutting funding to planned parenthood, how is that an attack on women when all one group is doing is to say we are giving you patients but you do not do the medical needs and instead you just send out the patient and then receive money off us.
Then how do they explain how they attack O Donnell , Sarah, Angle, Michell Bachmann and any other conservative woman?

I cannot quite bring myself to embrace this concept. I do give "default respect" to people who haven't said or done things that would be mutually incompatible with respect.

Frankly I do not know why Conservatives are afraid of Liberals for this article shows they are insane for Denny’s leap in logic is amazing. If you attack an organization that promotes abortion and abuse of women, you are attacking women. Huh? 50% of abortions are women; trashy pornography is an attack on the dignity of women; sex without commitment (marriage) is an attack on the emotions and mentality of women. Even the New Times noted that something is wrong when over 50% of new births in this country are illegitimate. Without stable families –married man & women – civil society cannot survive. With all that is happening in this country the left concentrates on minutia.

So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion;respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
