This is a little dated, but because of the early voting in Tenn is still relevant. I think Santorum takes Tenn easy.
We still have a few more days of early voting to go..
THE RACE
From a survey of 1,508 registered Tennessee voters:
Rick Santorum: 33 percent
Mitt Romney: 17 percent
Ron Paul: 13 percent
Newt Gingrich: 10 percent
Other/dont know/no answer: 27 percent
Source: Princeton Survey Research Associates International
Lets see what happens a few days after Mich and AZ. Candidate fortunes have changed very quickly.
Hopefully Romney will slip a whole lot further ..
and Newt will rise to the top..
Smiley face ;-)
"Geer said the race is fluid in part because voters dont know Santorum and his political weaknesses as well as they know Romney or Gingrich. The poll found just 25 percent of Republicans knew that Santorum, a two-term incumbent at the time, lost his 2006 Senate race by 18 points.
By contrast, 47 percent of Republicans knew Romney has a bank account in the Cayman Islands, and 54 percent knew that Gingrich had been punished for ethics violations by the House of Representatives.
Geer said pollsters started to see support for Romney picking up in the last few days of the survey."
As Newt supporters, we have a lot of educating to do...
So far, if the polls are to be believed, Santorum has barely slipped. His lost votes are not going to Gingrich either. If they manage to damage Santorum, Romney will most likely come out of Super Tuesday with half the delegates he needs for the nomination with just over a third of the contests decided.
The TN voters that I know of who went with Romney in 2008 arent choosing him this time...
Santorum will carry the state for sure, but it he doesn't get the eventual nod, it looks like people of TN hate Obama more than they hate Mormons, as they would vote for Mitt. A very interesting dynamic in TN.
I don’t live in TN, but, if I did, I’d vote for either Newt or Rick. NOOOO to Romney (aka obama-lite)

FReepmail Antoninus to be added or removed.
Why don't you try and promote your guy to voters instead of pulling a Romney and making a lame attempt at destroying your opponents. You should be thoroughly embarrassed that your guy is doing worse than RuPaul in that state.
Rick 33%, Milt 17%, RuPaul 13% and Newton 10%. He is not even in this thing to win with numbers like that.
This primary slowly but surely becoming one of the largest fusterclucks of all time. Note to RNC: If you give us Romney, I’ll write in Justin Beeber.
Since Santorum has no delegates running, is the Executive Committee inclined to appoint Santorum nominees for delegate, or would they do something else?
Why didn’t these Santorum supporters run for delegate?
” If you give us Romney, Ill write in Justin Beeber.”
Obviously, you are sexist. Clearly, the write in against Romney should be the infinitely more qualified Lady Gaga.
