The measure would pave the way for the US to declare an aerial blockade on Syria. Blockades are an act of war. Is this a now expected Act of Congress or another unilateral action to be taken by The One?

A blockade! This is why the planet hates America, because we keep making
all those peaceful people angry at us. Who the hell do we think we are anyway,
the world police? Children are dying in the dark of night!
Damn you Bush! no wait...

Guess this is what we have to do to isolate Iran.
Sucks, but that’s the way it is.

What is an aerial blockade? How does it work?
To: mortal19440
It’s like setting mines in the waterways except the mines are mounted on the B and F-series and in the air.
Where noone can hear you scream.

'US to announce aerial blockade on Syria' US readies for possibility of intervention without UN resolution,
Do the headline and the first line of the article seem different ??

I believe that Syria has several ports along the Med. Also, they can bring in items from Lebanon.

If Iran brings in hardware and men by plane will it affect them? Will the U.S. fire on a plane from Iran?
