I’m taping it, hoping Santorum does well. Also hoping he stays calm but a little more stern. He smiled way too much during his last outing on a Sunday show.

He should stay affable but not smile through any obvious sh*t that’s thrown at him.

Santorum is saying more and more things I like. I totally agree with him that not every child should go to college. The cost/benefit ratio is getting worse as colleges get more expensive and jobs get more scarce.

High School used to offer great trade courses. They don’t anymore. Irving High used to have a auto mechanic and body work class that all the teachers took their cars to. The work was great, done by students but supervised by experts.

They also had a course that built a house every year. The house was perfect and always sold for a good price.

Those students didn’t even need to go to trade school...they got it in high school for no extra cost. Whatcha bet they’re earning better money today than a lot of college grads.

Caught that as well. Yes, oil is a global commodity. It is fungible. If you increase supply, then the price will decrease. The US is the world's largest oil importer by far. The more self-sufficient we become, the less dependent we are on global supplies thereby reducing demand for imported oil, which should lower the price globally including in the US.

The problem has been that cartels like OPEC can raise and lower the supply affecting the price of oil. Demand is continuing to increase due to emerging markets like China and India, which are becoming more affluent, and an annual increase of about 50 million people a year in the world's population. OPEC can lower the price of oil so it makes the domestic production of US oil less attractive economically. Hopefully, fracking can lower the production costs so that we will be less vulnerable to the vagaries of the global market.

Newt is dead on on so many issues, it hurts that he lost the momentum. Maybe he’ll have some influence anyway.

Ann Coulter on F&F this morning was really nasty, can’t stand the sight of her anymore. She is still attacking Rick Perry, can’t get him out of her mind, she’s saying the old lie — that he’s soft on immigration.

Duh.

She’s riding on her own former coattails and I hope she drops off the radar soon.

Watching a bit of Bob Scheiffer, Face the Nation. Bob is interviewing Chris Christie, talking about Santorum. LOLOLOL, Bob is totallly blown away with everything Santorum has said. He can’t believe a candidate can say these things. Santorum might as well be an alien (as Rush previously mentioned). Brings up the snob comments.

I agree with you altura...have you heard some of the degrees kids are graduating with? They are so off the wall, there is no thought about how it applies to the job market...but hey, it’s a degree!

Skilled trades are a valuable skill. You’re always going to have a skill to sell unlike other professions. I agree, it’s a shame these classes aren’t provided in highschool anymore.

They were calling it a mistake on Fox this morning also.

As I understood it, it was not a mistake but a justified execution of the Korans in question. These books had been already ‘sullied’ by the fact that muslims were writing in them and passing them back and forth to pass messages.

The messages probably related to terrorist activity.

Once the Koran has been ‘sullied’ it may be disposed of in the same way that we respectfully dispose of Bibles and our flag, by burning.

Calling it an accident kind of cheapens it if, in fact, it was an action as I described.

Thanks Morgan, I expect we will use a lot of internet. We have developed an entire new system we call the Old School Campaign system. We have nobody running after our establishment candidate lost the special election. I would be the sacrificial lamb, but the scary part is I think we can win.

Pray for America

The media is trying to help the Democrats by manufacturing issues where none exists. Their hope is to find something, anything, to get the conversation away from real issues and Democrats positions.

Until we destroy the real enemy which is the Global Warming cult we will always have overpriced energy. GW is costing us between 1 and 2 dollars per gallon and will be doubling your electric bill in 3 years.

Pray for America

after Obamer wins the Republican party shall essentially be no more.
true..only the Establishment Party shall rule/survives
elitists and the serfs...the “people” and the “trash”...

so true skin. But maybe it’ll benefit us Conservatives cuz then the GOP will be insignificant and we can finally start our own party. How ‘bout calling it WE THE PEOPLE?

Was it Newt or Santorum who described all the mandates the gasoline people have to obey. There are dozens of requirements for this mix of gas here, another mix there, another mix in summer, etc.

All useless and all expensive and all driving up the cost of gasoline. Just eliminating those mandates alone would save a ton of money.

Why is Coulter still attacking Perry????? I can’t understand what happened to her.

Both governors, D - Maryland, R - NJersey, agree Santorum is too extreme. lol, the Dem, thought we were past this whole contraception issue. Says there are now exceptions for religious institutions, obama came out looking like the reasonable person on this issue. Says it would be nice to see the party of Lincoln reemerge in the Repub. party, not this extreme right wing segment that has emerged.

My, my, he’s Sooooo thoughtful with his advice for the Republican party. (note-to-self, send Maryland governor a lovely thank you note as soon as this show is over)

No, you’re right. They were using these Korans to pass messages back and forth and that little tidbit kind of escapes the Lamestream.

This whole Afghan thing, serious, I think it’s all orchestrated by this administration.

Why you ask?

First, go with me on this, the Obamer admin likes to create these drams...ie birth control and guns to Mexico, as a mean to change/mold public opinion. And they’re quite good at it. The Repubcs do not have a clue.

All you got to do....first, get me something to make the Afghanis riot, or their Taliban contingent. Head of army says....”well we got some Korans we threw out to burn. We could drop this info on someone in the underground over there.”

So they do because how else did this information get out?

So a whole bunch of folks needing a few bucks go out and riot and scream for maybe ten bucks a day, something like that.

The head Afghani shakes his head to America...”hey, nothing I can do, you got to apologize.”

So Obamer apologizes, as was the plan. America is supposed to get all scared of these rampaging Afghani citizens and demand that we get out of there before they come over here and riot.

Boom, Obamer pulls out of Afghanistan, something you know he desperately wants to do.

Badaboom.....he’s got more money in the public coffers that he can figure out how to re-route to his campaign....there’s always a way to do that.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Because silly, stupid idjits rioting in the streets over a burnt book aren’t scaring any darn body.

We all know it’s a joke.

Fox News has completely jumped the shark for Romnuts.
They are unwatchable now.

And have you noticed that all “panels” in any network consist of pro Mittens slobberers who end up dissing Rick ad nauseum, nodding in agreement that his campaign is a disaster and Romney is “in it for the long haul” and the only candidate who can beat Obama? LOL

Sometimes the rabid token Democrat ends up being the one who is most objective and sane. Never thought I’d say that!

Bring on the brokered Convention! Yes, I’m talkin’ to you Tokyo Rove.
