Never expect anything above bilge from the MSM. You won’t be disappointed.

LOL

That's been graven in stone for me since....sheesh, about the time I started reading.

Experience replaced the word "bilge" for me with something more colorful around 1967.

Don't ask.

Yes the money would be an issue, but I do work in the lumber industry and would champion their cause so it is possible I could raise quite a bit from them. Also, I believe you have to be fiscal conservative in a campaign too.

As for network, I have a core group of around 20 who want me to run and we helped run the last campaign with an outside group of around 300.

It is a real longshot but would be fun.

George continues to push the philosophy that if the economy seems to be moving in the right direction, how can Repub’s really criticize or use that?

If the liberal/progressive talking points said the world is flat, you can bet Juan Williams would not only agree but be willing to argue that point endlessly.

George asks Santorum about not supporting bailing out the auto industry. Santorum defends free markets.......gives example of steel industry in PA not receiving bailouts, the steel industry is still there, but it is different. (He did a pretty good job explaining this position, IMO)

The bailout was NOT for the auto industry, but for 2 losing companies in the auto industry. Ford, Toyota, Nissan, VW, etc. etc. etc. did not get bailouts.

And when libs talk about the "auto industry bailout", how come they never talk about the hundreds of dealers that Obama closed? Such little respect for small businesses; or like post offices.

It’s not a philosophy, it’s the only excuse 0zero and the Democrats have going for them. Trouble is, much of what they are saying is bogus. Unemployment is not really down, there are other factors like people quitting looking that make it appear to be down. The more oil being refined today is another one that’s misleading.

Good points, Bernard.

MTP, Gregory interview of Santorum - asks about obama’s apology in Afghanistan. Santorum says should not apologize for a mistake.

GM should have filed for bankruptcy and if they were not a viable company with a viable plan, another company like Ford would have taken their market share and eventually their plants. Why do we need three companies other than the unions require it?

Pray for America

True, Morgan. THe former gov of MI, Engler, started to point out on ABC the bogus numbers with people just falling out of the job market.....but he was cut off by another panelist.

MTP, Santorum is asked about some deal between Paul and Romney.....santorum responds that Paul is running ads against Santorum in MI, and yet Paul isn’t even running there - what does that say?

Gregory asks Santorum about “snob” comments regarding obama saying every American should to go to college. Gregory asks is your vision that everyone shouldn’t have the opportunity? Santorum points out skilled trades, etc. People have different strenghts/interest/skills......these other skills are valuable. (lol........Santorum should be able to win this argument....anyone hired a plumber lately? It ain’t cheap, and their skills are pretty important.)

Gregory asks Santorum about incentivizing manufacturers through tax policies, but being unwilling to extend unemployment....isn’t that hypocritical? (I’m not sure I get the connection, maybe I heard the question wrong?)

On Santorum’s comments about the JFK speech,

Santorum says his biggest problem is with the first sentence of that speech where JFK says “I believe in America where the sperartion of church and state is absolute.” (paraphrased) Santorum says this is anethetical to the first amendment. People should be able to come into the public square and affect public policy.

Santorum defends his positions as HIS values, not something he wants to force on Americans. Says he talks about other issues far more, but media is pulling up speeches from years ago and analyzing them. Santorum says unlike other politicians, he actually answers questions when asked.

Great essay as usual. It’s amazing how the media and hollywood libs have poisoned women (and girls) against reality when it comes to abortion.

They almost think it’s the Right Thing to do and not that important, as in, getting a tattoo or your nose pierced or getting an abortion.

That’s why I approved of Governor Perry mandating an ultra sound for girls contemplating abortion. It horrified the libs, but if girls are gonna do this, they need to at least face that there is a little person in their body.

I do think the whole abortion on demand thing and the vast number of abortions performed undermines the moral fibre of the country.

I tried to explain this at my (liberal) Bible class but people just thought I was crazy. I wish I were more eloquent, like you Bray.

By the way, you might look into Rep James Langford US Congressional House District 5 in Oklahoma. Young guy, used a lot of twitter and facebook. He won without spending a ton of money.

Santorum is on his game this morning...rippin’ David Hussein Gregory and not backing down.
He looks refreshed, energized and in control.
Has a car in the Indie 500 today.

GO RICK!

Although I’m still hoping Newt can recover some momentum, I also hope Santorum does well.

He received a body blow at the debate with the nasty little troll and his puppet master double teaming him and putting him into the position of constantly defending stuff he’d done.

Those on this forum who are gleeful about this better think twice, the person benefiting from a Rick S. downfall is not Newt but Romney.
