I know an ex-NYPD armorer who is much into autos. He has repeatedly returned expensive Sig Sauers for repair. Other manufactured autos have also failed him at the range (where he spends a lot of time). He spends hours working on them himself, and they all give him problems. So he’s given up carrying them and has reverted to his S&W revolver.
