Newt Gingrich: President Obama 'needs to move to Europe'

FEDERAL WAY -- Ex-House Speaker Newt Gingrich, seeking his third comeback in the Republican presidential race, told a Friday rally that Barack Obama is "president of the wrong country" and ought to "move to Europe."

Gingrich dispensed red meat rhetoric with a smile. He is again the happy warrior seen in a CNN Republican debate earlier this week, and not the angry candidate who won in South Carolina but then lost big in Florida.

"Our only opponent is Barack Obama," Calista Gingrich said in introducing her husband. As for Newt Gingrich, he mentioned the GOP field only once with a dig at a free-spending, well-heeled rival: "Mitt Romney raises a lot more money from Wall Street than I do, but we have 170,000 donors."

The former House Speaker is holding four rallies in Washington, anticipating the state's Saturday, March 3, precinct caucuses

-snip-

The themes of his speech here could be summed up in three words: gas guzzlers and God.

Gingrich is touting a drill-baby-drill energy policy, saying he wants to be known as "President Drilling." He lampooned the fuel-efficient Chevy Volt, and the prospect of generating energy from algae -- calling Obama "President Algae" and "President Food Stamps" -- and claimed that the 44th president is seeking "total power" to shape Americans' consumption habits.

"The President would like to force all of us into small vehicles," Gingrich alleged. "The President would like to force all of to do what he wants. He's president of the wrong country. ... He needs to move to Europe."

It was about as blunt as any Republican candidate has espoused the Barack Obama-is-different line of argument. Gingrich followed up with another hit at the President, saying: "Obama's vision is one of total power in the White House."

LOL! We all agree with you, Mr. Speaker. President Algae should move to Europe. Then we should put him on the no-fly list.

Dennis Swartout, from Spokane : “Newt is a tough guy. I think there are some tough things that need to be done. … He’s no angel, but that’s not what we need in Washington, D.C.”

Colleen Ancel: “It’s wonderful to be able to see him in person and shake his hand. We’ve been Newt supporters for years and years, since the Contract with America. Anybody that listens to reason – he is just the most articulate speaker”

I loved the rally. Callista even spoke. She is Newt's secret weapon. She is terrific. I asked her if Newt has been talking to Sarah. She gave me a big "yes!"

Newt has been talking to the experts about our energy situation. He says that $2.50/gallon gas is do-able. He asks everyone to send his campaign the cost of $2.50/gallon gas. If enough did so, he could beat Romney's "Wall Street contributors."

If each of us want to do something, go to www.Newt.org and donate just $2.50 (of course, a little more would be good too).

The question he raised is are we going to have this:

or this?

Any questions?

Sorry Vendome- it’s gone. And the guy to blame is Red Steel.

You see, Red Steel is a great and loyal Newt supporter- and as soon as he sees a topical article, he rushes to post it.

Me, on the other hand, I take Newt’s genius and try to edit long articles to maximum effect- So, for instance, unless you actually read this entire article, you will likely not know that Newt referred to our current pres-—as “President Algae”.

But, see, old quick fingers Red Steel posts a mundane piece (obviously with good intentions), and beats me by seconds— but in having done so, my more creative enterprise is now somewhere in cyber-garbage.

Now, certainly, there’s nothing personal here- Red Steel and I are currently brothers-in-arms; but in the future, probably better for Newt if Red sends me a PM prior to posting-—

I mean lackluster postings just cost Newt votes- and we need all we can get. (LOL-)

Here’s what I think Obama’s plans are:

If he loses this election, he will follow in Jimmy Carter’s footsteps as an ambassador of good will, but he will be focusing on Islamic nations. He’ll attach himself to some Habitat for Islamic Humanity type of charity group.

If he wins this next election, he’ll probably do the same but he will act more like Bill Clinton than Jimmah Carter.

He's not wasting any ground calling Obama out. Great to see him back on message.

NO...the Globalists want him to serve in an International position. Gearing up for that as they manipulate the nations for world governance.

The Globalists want him to serve in an International Governance position. Gearing up for that as they manipulate the nations for world governance...and it won’t be as an Ambassador either....which is why he’ not going to stand against any nations and or appease most during his time in office. His asperations are not in this country, never were....he’ll be out of here in no time flat after he leaves office....

That’s also why Michelle was doing her thing in various countries awhile back....all this country is to them is a stepping stone to the International Arena...after they’ve not only destroyed what they can..but getting out of dodge.

Wow! You really have your pants in a knot!

Newt’s accomplishments were for Conservativism and nobody has done as much for that as Newt has as Speaker...and even much when he wasn’t. He’s done our country well. Get real Newt’s record stands on it’s own.

I agree that Obama is really shooting for an international position that he feels would be in keeping with his magnificence. I suspect he feels that mere President of the US is not enough power, not enough honor for him.

I don’t think there’s any likelihood that he is going to lose this election if either Romney or Santorum is the candidate and I don’t believe he’s worried about it. But at the same time, he may be looking for that special international position.

I used to think he wanted to be UN Secretary General. A person from a state that is a member of the Security Council can’t be elected to that position, but I’m sure he could find a way around that. However, now I’m thinking that perhaps they’re brewing some new, possibly “environmental” entity that will have even more power, and that’s what he’ll be aiming for.

What would you do if you were him?

No fair saying that you’d commit suicide.

Really try to put yourself in his shoes. I know this is difficult. He’s extremely liberal, very egotistical, pretty smart, good speaker, incredibly arrogant about ‘knowing’ what is good for everyone, petty, Anti-American, pontificating, and willing to pay big bucks for a forged birth certificate.

Here’s what I would do in his situation. I would do the mooslim habitat for humanity thing. I would pick a small, liberal, socialist, english-speaking country to move to and aim for the presidency of that country. The only country I can come up with is New Zealand. Anyways, the aim is to create a globalist position in the United Nations that has even more authority than secretary general and move in on that, after being done with the do-nothing presidency of his second country.
