Come on Olog-hai,
Abandoning Mubarak, this whole mooselimb uprising and America abruptly leaving Iraq leaves only one faction to fill the political void. Muslim Brotherhood. Supported by Iran.
Guess them suadi,”royals”, are nervous about now!! (GOOD, f-em, most of them deserve to be roasted)
Were we to just leave these mooselimb crazy turds alone the shia and suni probably would just kill off each other.

Fair question. I would say that the precedent was set in Iraq; it’d be great to be wrong about that . . .

Saudi royals nervous about the MB? Both are hardcore Wahhabi, last I looked.
Hoping for Sunni and Shi'a to kill each other off is a liberal myth, too.

Our work there is done. The best follow-up is to monitor by air the poppy fields. and when appropriate in the growth cycle, spray with powerful herbicides by drone. Take away the rat bastards' drug money and they will pull in their horns.

Kill as many as we can when they try something. Repeat as needed. That's the problem. We don't do that.
This thing was treated as a war when it started, and then we started trying to "Win the hearts and minds of the Afghan people".
Since this IS a war, if we are not prepared to destroy them, they will keep coming back to harm us. Basic logic really, but it seems to elude our governments. It's so frustrating.
