The field is set.
Tony Stewart won the first Duel under caution and Matt Kenseth took the checkered in a caution-free second event to set the lineup for Sunday's Daytona 500.

Who will ride a lucky airstream to Victory Lane on Sunday?
Will the field get Smoke'd again?

I have a question for all of you longtime race fans. A few minutes ago they talked about the new restrictions on the rear end of the cars, such as the spoiler going lower to the ground so that a drafter couldn’t get as close without restricting his own airflow? This is disturbing to me, as a casual fan, as it seems that NASCAR is trying to control every aspect of the race. Similar to the NFL cracking down on certain blocks and slaps, etc. What is going on with NASCAR? How can racing be so risk-averse?
NO!
Is there anyplace a man can go, anything a man can do that allows him the pleasures of being a man?

After yesterday a good stratedgy might be to hold back, wait for everyone else to crash then race for the finish.
Danica...can you hear me? LOL!

The track is completely soaked. It will take two or more hours to dry it off AFTER the rain has stopped...gonna be a long day.
RADAR showing lots of smaller rain patches but I am hoping they will fizzle out as the day warms up.
JET DRYERS on the track NOW...
Thats a good strategy, it worked for for some drivers last year. Not having any car to car communication is going to get somebody hurt, frankly I think NASCAR is becoming too much of a nanny libtard state, they screw with safety by not letting drivers talk to each other, they change the spoilers, they change the cooling.
Whats next shock collars for over eager drivers like Kyle Busch?
They said they have almost every track drier from across the country at Daytona.
Why not just design a giant squeegee pulled by vehicles and a vacuum truck with a tanker?
It’s just stupidity.
They upgraded my Trackpass to include Race View which is cool but to use the Virtual Video, I have to use Windows. That sucks.
So I’m just hanging out with the cats waiting for the race to start...managed to change the furnace filter. Woo Hoo!
why not a sham wow wheel the size of a tractor
That aint your daddys nascar v-8
Necessity is the mother of invention friend.
I used to work on snow grooming equipment at a major ski resort.
Who knows in a decade they will have a surface that automatically wicks moisture or instantly converts it into basic components of H2O.
I know you are pokin fun about the shamwow but if it was 20 foot wide, cylindrical and like a roller with an internal vacuum system.... I’m just saying anything could be built.
Imagine just how much kerosene is being burnt for those jet driers?
No worries just don’t post it on FR
2PM Eastern...still raining on the track.
They haven’t shown the track in a while...
HOW LONG or LATE can they actually race? What’s the curfew? Midnight?
