Hispanic/Latinos voted in 2008 67% for Obama and 31% for McCain, who supported comprehensive immigration reform (McCain-Kennedy)i.e., amnesty. It didn't help McCain.
In 2008, if John McCain had received 60 percent [vice 55 percent] of the “white vote,” he would have won even if Barack Obama had received the entire Hispanic vote. The Reps would be better served to go after the non-Hispanic white vote.

Well, if he’s talking about the illegals - they shouldn’t be voting anyway. If he’s talking about Americans of hispanic descent, they don’t want the illegals here any more than the rest of us Americans do.
