They sure seemed intent on keeping Santorum down last night...on the face of it, Ron Paul should be a lot more opposed to Willard Romney than Santorum, but that didn’t appear to be the case last night.

...on the face of it, Ron Paul should be a lot more opposed to Willard Romney than Santorum... Paul will always voice the strongest opposition to the candidate most in favor of Big Government and the initiation of force against the citizens. Note that Paul didn't attack Newt last night, either.

He should be. But Ron Paul is a social liberal. His vote to homosexualize the military should tell you all you need to know there. That's the point of affinity between Romney and Paul. Neither of them are social conservatives. They are both cheap Democrats.
