Rick Perry took a shot at Rick Santorum prior to tonight's GOP debate, saying the former Pennsylvania senator is "weak on the 10th Amendment" and lacks the instinct to go after big spending in Washington. In an interview, Perry touted Newt Gingrich as the best Republican in the field to be the party's nominee for president. Perry said of Santorum, "He thinks that Washington needs to be making a substantial amount of those decisions" regarding spending and federal oversight of education, environment and health care decisions better left to the states. Perry appeared on conservative talker Michael Medved's radio show. The Texas governor is in Mesa, Arizona for tonight's GOP debate. He will be in the hall as a guest of Gingrich and will be in the post-debate spin room to promote his candidate's performance.
Perry was asked what he thought of Santorum's idea that not only the federal government but also state government should steer clear of overseeing public education. Santorum says public schools would be better off if they were operated at the local level. Perry said: "That's just nonsense." The Texas governor has called for more state control of education, but says the states properly should have a "partnership with local school districts" to administer public schools.

I’ve been meaning to bring this up, and I knew as soon as someone posted about Rick Perry at tonight’s debate, you’d be on the thread like a possum on roadkill, trolling. Sure enough, here you are. Perfectly predictable.
I did a search of your posting history and found the same Santorum pictures and cartoons posted over...and over...and over...and over. On countless threads. I want to ask if you have any qualms at all about using up someone else’s bandwidth to do your constant spamming?
I so agree.
Mr Perry didn’t seem to have any trouble using an executive order to tell the parents of female children that they must have a vaccine they may not want foisted upon their daughters.
So look who forgot all about about individual rights.
Why? So the government can pay for that vaccine with a company he was wheeling and dealing with. Hell of a deal.
That picture shows a great line-up for America’s future.
GO NEWT!
I hope that Romney and friends have not packed the debate tonight. Mesa AZ is very strong Mormon territory.
Ahhhh.... quit your whining and grow up.

Amen, sister.
Rick Perry is/was our best candidate.
But he didn’t. The vaccine was not mandatory.
Looks like your Willard the Lib in drag. (~ ;
Weren’t you warned? Didn’t Jim give you the last rites the other night? Hold it down.
Never was. EVER!
So then I take it that you, indeed, have NO qualms about using someone’s else’s bandwidth to spam your endless pictures of Santorum. Got it.
You’ve got it bad, CC. You’re a regular fanboy. :)
Santorum is a two-term Senator with an unremarkable record and an obnoxious, over-inflated ego.
Not only that, he’s a big-government porker who won’t do a damn thing to rein in the spending.
Newt, on the other hand, is calling for a flat tax plan that would dramatically simplify our bloated federal tax code for most people. A flat tax is the only kind that doesn’t pick winners and losers, Little Ricky.
Santorum embraces the strong role of the federal government. That's his real record.
Dallas Morning News is weak on understanding that the 10th among other things, is about state "powers" and NOT state "rights".
considering perry is also pro amnesty perry should be thrilled that anyone gives him the time of day.
i take it that you have mo pronlem propping up your dead beat candidate byy asting everyones time
Rick is a global social justice Catholic. Sorry, it is truel.
