My conclusion about why John McCain does the things he does-
He thinks every idea he has must be a good one. Why? Because he thought of it. Ergo it must be right. Everyone who disagrees with him is just a hater. He's John McCain, dammit! Don't you know what he went through?! Who the hell are you to tell him he's wrong?!
At least, that's the conclusion I've come to. And I voted for this horse's arse in 2008 because I had to.
John McCain is insane. I really think Arizona should be punished for continuing to reelect this person.
This is the consequence of allowing politicians to stay in office for decades.
Everything McCain does is troubling. I think it starts with his BREATHING!!!
McCain is like the crocodile in Peter Pan. He always shows up at the WRONG time.
McCain just signaling to ‘Rats not to worry about any potential GOP Senate takeover. He is willing and able, if needed for the traveling-cause, to switch sides. SO, cheer up Harry...
“In declining states the leadership intuitively choses the most harmful course of action.”-A Great Historian 1888
Instead he sees himself as a global politician. The Muslim countries take the priority. If you disagree, he resorts to name calling. Hobbits, isolationists...
He’s just following his Blood Brother Sen Kerry’s conduct. </sarc
Nah, it's just Aid and Comfort to the Enemy, from the Manchurian Candidate.
Maybe Juan can convince Da Brotherhood to release their American hostages in Egypt before he promises them anything?
I voted against him, because anyone who voted for him is resonsible for his policies.
Every one.
Thanks AZ for once more inflicting this idiotic loose cannon on the nation.
Democrats are trying to replace their diminishing Jewish vote and money with Islamist support, so Juan, being an imbecile, does the same thing. He thinks Democrats can make no mistakes.
Just another reason why McCain is obama’s go-to-man in the Senate. I think obama has him on speed-dial. Lindsey Graham is also on his speed-dial, but further down the list. obama’s thoughts are if you have a sure winner, don’t change horses Y-E-T, but be ready just in case.
If anyone accuses you ... or me ... of offering an overly-simplistic view of John McCain, I plan on pleading "Guilty."
That's because John McCain is actually quite the simpleton. In a weird way, he's like that fellow what's-is-name over in the WH. Both had their skids greased and the way made clear from day one in their lives. At least in John (Dumb John's) case, we know it was the McCain family and not spooky international characters like George Soros!
John, a terrible student well known for nutty behavior and some very hard drinking, was pushed into the Naval Academy. About to be expelled, pressure from the Pentagon kept him in. He absolutely could not handle the course work, but was tutored, pushed and God knows what to graduate, somehow. When he did graduate, he was pushed into Flight Training, . He was pushed through to his 'Wings of Gold' over the objections of his flight instructors, a couple of whom, legend and Navy lore has it, were hounded out of the service by the various and sundry Admirals MCCain and their friends. The real McCain, John's Dad, died the day after VJ Day! Since then, John has reaped the sympathy support!
As a pilot, with no hand-eye coordination and known for no common sense, he was an absolute and dangerous disaster. He was well known for getting lost ... over the Chesapeake, among other more exotic places ... and finishing off enough planes to qualify as a "Jap Ace." His capture by the Vietnamese caused many a fleet air arm maintenance man to actually breathe a sigh of relief! As a pilot, John never "got it."
You're right. Like Obama, he believes his every waking thought to be a brilliant idea. By the time he was through with the Hanoi Hilton, he was a permanent mental wreck. The Navy should have thanked him then for his service to the country and pensioned him off, or put him in a home.
Now all we can do is be wary of his disservice to country and try to keep him in check. There are plenty of fellows around who served with him. Just ask them, and then you won't even have to listen. Just look at the way they will roll their eyes, shake their heads, and turn away. Sad, sad case.
It sure as hell doesn't say much for the voters of Arizona.
