Republican John McCain has been traveling the Mideast with a bipartisan delegation of his Senate colleagues. He seems to think the regions ascendant Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood are people America can do business with.
Call it pragmatism. Perhaps it is simply a cynical bid to secure the release of sixteen U.S. hostages, some of whom work in Egypt for the International Republican Institute, a non-governmental organization Sen. McCain has long chaired.
Whatever his rationale, John McCains warming to the Brotherhood is strategically catastrophic. It fails to recognize that groups determination to destroy infidel nations like ours. It signals bipartisan support for giving the Brothers billions in foreign aid, and maybe arms. And it offers political cover to one of President Obamas most insidious and destructive policies. This must not stand.

My conclusion about why John McCain does the things he does-
He thinks every idea he has must be a good one. Why? Because he thought of it. Ergo it must be right. Everyone who disagrees with him is just a hater. He's John McCain, dammit! Don't you know what he went through?! Who the hell are you to tell him he's wrong?!
At least, that's the conclusion I've come to. And I voted for this horse's arse in 2008 because I had to.
John McCain is insane. I really think Arizona should be punished for continuing to reelect this person.
This is the consequence of allowing politicians to stay in office for decades.
Everything McCain does is troubling. I think it starts with his BREATHING!!!
McCain is like the crocodile in Peter Pan. He always shows up at the WRONG time.
McCain just signaling to ‘Rats not to worry about any potential GOP Senate takeover. He is willing and able, if needed for the traveling-cause, to switch sides. SO, cheer up Harry...
All he wants is for the US to be the world’s police and he is for meddling in every other country’s affairs no matter how unconstitutional. He’s one of the few examples I can understand when the Paulbots bitch and moan about neocons ruining America. McCain is a horrible politician. In some ways he is worse than Obama. If McCain were president there would probably be troops in Syria now. At least Obama has stayed out of this stupid conflict up until now.
“In declining states the leadership intuitively choses the most harmful course of action.”-A Great Historian 1888
Instead he sees himself as a global politician. The Muslim countries take the priority. If you disagree, he resorts to name calling. Hobbits, isolationists...
He’s just following his Blood Brother Sen Kerry’s conduct. </sarc
Nah, it's just Aid and Comfort to the Enemy, from the Manchurian Candidate.
Maybe Juan can convince Da Brotherhood to release their American hostages in Egypt before he promises them anything?
We need to confront Islamic Terrorists and threats to our civilization whenever and wherever they occur.
But unless we are prepared for some heavy-handed brutal occupation and forced conversions, we should leave those Muslim Maniacs to stew in their own filth until they are willing to trade the 6th Century for the 21st, unless they are oppressing non-Muslims in which case we should beat their heads in.
But under NO circumstances are we obligated to save them from the consequences of their threats, aggressions and dictators when they necessitate our giving them a thorough pounding.
We were right to remove Saddam. We were WRONG to commit to a long occupation which lost us a fortune in lives and money trying to civilize these savages.
We were right to destroy the Taliban in Afghanistan. But we should have been more thorough and more brutal. And under no circumstances should we have committed to an occupation there any more than we were right in a prolonged occupation of Iraq.
I voted against him, because anyone who voted for him is resonsible for his policies.
Every one.
It's like, if the rest of us hates their candidate, that's just the one they want. Don't tell them what to do. yuk., yet they think they have a right to complain???
All those eretiewwa in Arizona must be in the last throes of Alzheimers to keep relelectding McTwitchit McQueeg! The less we hear about him the bettewe.
RME
Thanks AZ for once more inflicting this idiotic loose cannon on the nation.
Democrats are trying to replace their diminishing Jewish vote and money with Islamist support, so Juan, being an imbecile, does the same thing. He thinks Democrats can make no mistakes.
So, I am asking kindly what does RME mean? (Oh Lord, let it be clean) rofl
