Sure make you wonder just how much longer the Lord will Tarry.

Now, I ask anyone: The pregnant one.....why do they wear that type of clothing, it is gross. I do not want to see that big belly showing ANYTIME, EVER, it is disgusting. They seem so proud of being knocked up.

Yet, when not pregnant they will wear the maternity tops which are the style now (fits under the bust and flows out) I don't get it.

I once saw a young girl in a store wearing this princess style blouse, I asked her if she was pregnant, she said No, I asked her why she was wearing a maternity top. She gave me a dirty look, hahahahaha DO I care??? nah!

It is tacky. They have no modesty and don’t even know what it means. Worse yet they have no respect for themselves or the gift they are carrying. This very story proves that.

We are dealing with the MTV and Twilight crowd. Whatever the celebrity does they will emulate. Back in the day kids wanted to be individual. Now, all they are is immoral, immodest entitlement liberal sheeple. Worse yet, this is what we are leaving this beautiful country to. That breaks my heart.

I hope the Lord comes soon. His will be done in all things.

Oh my gosh. An institute of pedophilia and child abuse masquerading as a normal house is discovered, and you take offense at a normal pregnant look? If you are elderly enough to be shocked when I Love Lucy first showed a pregnant woman at all, I’m sorry. But today’s normal pregnant married woman is proud of her bump and does indeed dress like this when casual. It is no longer embarrassing to be pregnant.

I am not calling this particular woman normal. But normal pregnant women could easily be wearing a t shirt and jeans like that.

So, do you routinely ask people wearing shirts and dresses with an empire waist if they are pregnant? How rude of you!

I’m not defending THIS woman in particular, but why in the world would someone who obviously DOES value children say that this woman’s “big belly” is “gross” and “disgusting”...

Also, if you actually read the article it says that these women are the daughters of the Grandmother who own the home, and that they are MARRIED - not “knocked up” as you allege. Being married, according to “Christian Values” they have every right to be proud of being BLESSED with a gift from God in the form of a child. And, I dare say, even those who get “knocked up” as you so eloquently state, have every right to be proud of the BLESSING they have received as well.

The notion that a “big belly” and a growing human is “disgusting” probably leads more girls who are super-self-conscious to abortion (abortion activists are always talking about the baby as a “parasitic” organism, your attitude towards a natural, and beautiful process created BY GOD doesn’t help) - especially considering they have to deal with people like you judging them based upon no actual knowledge of their situation.

Yes (if you couldn’t tell by MY attitude I do take your comments personally), it was people like you who gave me dirty looks when I was pregnant and had my children - even though I had graduated High School, had a 5.0 GPA IN College, was married (to the father of ALL our children), and in my 20s. The “problem” was that both my husband and I appeared much younger than we really were and we saw with our own eyes the harsh judgmental stares that probably face every young couple who try to do the “right thing” (we’ve been together almost 22 years now and have four beautiful daughters). ESPECIALLY the harsh looks from the mothers of my childrens’ peers.

I’m not defending this family - I don’t know anything about them other than the article I read. However, you may want to re-examine your attitude. Maybe you are one of the ones the Lord is waiting for to come to their senses...

Annie have you tried to buy maternity clothing lately? Even our local Wal-Mart does not even have much of a selection. Once I was in Jo-Ann Fabrics looking at sewing patters when a pregnant woman and her mom were looking at patters. The mom to be was griping out loud about how she could not find maternity clothing anywhere. Then she could not find any sewing patterns for them! I looked myself, and only Burda had any. The other companies McCalls, Simplicity, and Butterick all had tabs for Maternity but no patterns! Only one in uniforms and that was a scrubs with a panel for pregnant woman.

What has happened to all the “Mommy and Me” type stores? There are none in my area!
