(CNN) - Count the first lady among those who may not know the official name of todays holiday.
Michelle Obama wished her famous husband a Happy Presidents Day on twitter earlier Monday, declaring @BarackObama her personal favorite. The tweet was signed -MO, which the Obama campaign has said means it comes from the first lady directly.
The only problem? There is no such thing as Presidents Day. The official name of the holiday is Washingtons Birthday, according to the Office of Personnel Management, the agency in charge of federal employees.

...uh, you tell her...
Why does anybody think she skedaddled to Aspen Colorado, seemingly as soon as her plane touched the runway from her last vacation, 16 days ago?
I’m sure Obama would do it too, if he could.
She’s hanging out with the one percenters again. Those folks with 3 million dollar vacation homes.
I’m sure there were hundreds of Occupy protesters there, right?
Actually George was born on Feb. 22nd - the day before my ex-hubby...at least according to the Gregorian calendar :o)
I get my calendars at Staples
My boss was confused today too. But I set him straight.
Let me guess.
The ex was a day late and a dollar short...
Never mind.
These people are anathema to American traditions. We cannot make another mistake like the Obamas and expect our republic to survive.
commiefact says it is “usurper day”.
Soon to declared “Dictator’s Day”.
Ouch !
Yes, today we celebrate two of our greatest presidents, Washington and Lincoln.
Frankly, I have lost interest in this election since December 3. I am fed up with career politicians! To see and hear what the man who should be our next president is doing, and has done, please Google cainconnections.com. Click on the blue links to hear sanity and wisdom at it’s very best. Support America by supporting Mr. Herman Cain in his current endeavors for the country. Watch all the videos and you will find your spirit soaring again.
Thank you.

As I remember, President’s Day was conjured up to merge commemoration of the b’days of Lincoln (2/12) and Washington 2/22), partly to avoid undue proliferation of nat’l holidays after M. L. King, Jr.’s birthdate was made a national holiday.

AMEN!
Only wish that he could have better countered the bimbo eruptions smearing him.
Hopefully there might possibly be a VP spot for him.
Great motivational speaker, and a smart guy.

What ever shall we do once the Most Reverend King and Benefactor of the World, Barack Hussain Obama, is deposed from his throne? Do we honor his Hawaian/Kenyan Birthday; his day of Immaculation; his Day of Dethronement; or his day of death??
Maybe his day of death. We will all need a day off to piss on his grave!
Since Obama thinks that all the sufferings of black Americans from 1619 to 2008 were to prepare the way for him to become President, it's no surprise if his wife thinks the purpose of the holiday is to celebrate her husband.
Michelle probably thinks it’s really George Birthington’s Washday.
