They realized all the laws written to exclude whites by using the phrase "minority" would no longer suffice. It was amusing to watch attempts to change from "minority" to "people of color". A morning news show had a caller wondering if the phrase "colored people" was going to be the consequence of this new reshuffling of terminology to exclude whites. I wasn't really that amused. The anti-white purpose of these laws has been evident for 40 years. Having to walk on egg shells to avoid offending "minorities" has always rubbed me the wrong way. I expect people to perform, not make excuses for lack of performance based on melanin content. In my line of work, most of my co-workers have a BA or better. It's almost never an issue.
