What kind of country do we now live in. Children have their lunches taken away by the state because the lunches don't comply with what some nanny with a badge thinks is a proper meal.
I can't get fries for my kids when we go to the Olive Garden now because they have voluntarily removed fries from their menu.
And now we see that overweight Michelle Obama is going around getting candy companies to restrict their candy offerings.
The Nazis and the Communists were all-time control freaks. But not even they thought to control what their subjects ate.
As far as I can recall, what is going on right now in our country is a first. No dictatorship has ever tried to control the diet of its citizens probably because they suspected that doing so might cause a revolt.
But what do we Americans do. We sit by and take it. If George III could see what is going on now in America, he would laugh and rue the fact that he was born there centuries too early.

Home school your kids, enlist the help of grandparents, take it to the schools and/or sue the schools for infringement on your rights as parents. If there was ever a time when generations need to join forces and fight this evil, it IS NOW. DO NOT become complacent and just let this roll off your back and do nothing...fight each and every time your rights and freedoms are being infringed upon.

MSG and OBESITY
The human body is a wonderful thing. There are systems working together that create checks and balances to keep us well – or to fight disease should we encounter it. Obesity happens when one or more of those systems is not working. It can happen when stress or depression throw the endocrine system off balance, and there is loss of appetite control. It can happen when there is an injury (a blow to the head for example), that disrupts the endocrine system. And it can happen when MSG is fed to the unborn and the very young – fed to them before their blood brain barriers are well enough developed to protect the brain cells destined to control endocrine function later in life.
There are actually two separate and possibly distinct paths through which MSG-induced obesity can thrive. In the first, MSG moves through the incomplete (immature) blood-brain-barrier in the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus of the unborn and very young, and kills brain cells (neurons), causing permanent damage to the endocrine system that controls appetite. In other words, when delivered to the fetus in utero and/or fed to the very young, MSG produces brain damage that damages the endocrine system and causes obesity as children approach maturity. Diet and exercise will do little of a permanent nature for a person whose endocrine system has been damaged in this way.
If that isn't bad enough, in both children and adults continuous ingestion of MSG will raise some hormone levels, including levels of the hormone insulin. When the insulin level is raised, the glucose level is lowered, which is the body’s signal to eat more food in order to raise (balance) the glucose level. With the brain signaling the body to consume more food, diet and exercise have little chance of controlling weight gain without a permanent highly restrictive diet.......

It matters. They are two different types of controls. The Communists did not decide to impose dietary restrictions like Moochelle. Even in the type you mention, the food shortages by the Communists were not intentional but due to their folly. They wanted to create a land of the plenty when it came to food. Their barbarism was in other areas.

The Obama’s election to a major office is evidence of an on going conquest,of the West, by members of the “Third World.” The “Third World” conquest when completed and consolidated will prove far worse than what the Nazi’s and Communists dealt out to their fellow nationals.

That's what you're not getting. They weren't told that they couldn't eat because there "wasn't enough food". They weren't starving, they were BEING STARVED. Deliberately. Six to seven million in the Ukraine under Stalin, and tens of millions in China under Mao.
Of course they never dreamed of it. They didn't bother with little penny-ante fooling around being a nanny state contolling people's diet. They simply slaughtered whole populations wholesale. Much more efficient.
The same with North Korea today. Why bother dictating "healty food choices" when those left alive are eating tree bark?
