John McCain Concerned About "Negative" Tone in GOP Race

Arizona Senator John McCain, the man who lost to Barack Obama after trying to pull the "my friends" card on both his opponent and the media, is expressing concern about the negative tone of the GOP primary race.

Former Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) said Sunday he’s worried the negative tone in the GOP campaigns could help President Obama win a second term in the White House.

“I think there's reason to be concerned about it,” said McCain on ABC’s This Week.

"I've been in very tough campaigns. I don't think I've seen one that was as personal and as characterized by so many attacks as these are.”

Reality check: McCain wasn't tough against Obama, hence the reason he lost. Romney would be smart not to take McCain's advice on this issue.

McPain should re-enter the race himself and show them how it should be done. People in AZ will at least listen.

The only thing useful this man has ever done is to have given us Sarah Palin.

Remove the Grand Canyon photo. This is the best possible picture to represent AZ.

It would not surprise me in the least if McLame found that anonymous Senator in the mirror.

Very good post; we should thank the silly people of AZ for giving America further entertainment of the near slapstick kind.

With the GOP having a friend like John McCain, who needs enemies?

Are those REAL tweezers, or are those ZIRCON ENCRUSTED TWEEZERS?

Is that a REAL poncho? Or is that a Sear’s poncho?

And BTW, are you really riding a Pigmy Pony?

I like dental floss.

And I think I like Dynamo-Humm’s sister.

(Great Googalymoogaly! We’ve really confused them now!)

I’m concerned about the negative tone over a whole lot of worthless, non-issue horse crap. So much valuable space and time is filled up with all that nonsense.

McCain said. “I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments... he is a decent person, and a person that you do not have to be scared as President of the United States.”

McCain is a war hero. As a Republican Senator he is a failure. The above is classic Stockholm Syndrome. I despise JM.

Arizona had a chance to get rid of this brain damaged old coot and they passed. And that’s why I’m no longer in Arizona’s corner on ANY issue.
