So Rick's down with welfare, environmentalism and censorship. Hopefully the college loan bubble doesn't burst this year and sink Rick with it thanks to this legislation he passed to make college "more affordable."

Rick Santorum has been one of the more dishonest candidates I’ve seen. Not so bad as Romney, mind you, but his calling himself the “true conservative” and then condemning Newt for the exact same stuff he himself is done is quite hypocritical.

Regardless of the content, which Rick has discussed at length in some interviews I've heard and which is defensible, this is a cute ad. And one that fights the meme by many here that he has no sense of humor. Yes, he often talks about serious stuff and does so appropriately seriously, but get him onto less serious subject material and he's a loose, normal guy. Things like this from the past will help to counter Obama's efforts to paint him as the head of a coming inquisition.

Rick's ad with the mud slinging "Rombo" is the funniest ad of the campaign to date. If Newt goes negative with his recharged wallet I wouldn't be surprised to a Rombo level two ad with both targeting Rick, yet hitting each other. Obama has been remarkably thin skinned regarding humor aimed at him. Rick can score a lot of points there.

Big Nooze should be loving this guy. A Conservative Republican who has worked with DemocRATS.

Why does this feel like a hit piece instead of an endorsement?

And Barbara Boxer and I wrote a law protecting open space

Just a guess ... was that the open space between Boxer's ears?

Sorry Rick, not buying it. You lay down with Democrats to pass STUPID legislation, you don't get my vote.

Wow, ABC is testing the water with their best shot at nailing Rick in the primary. It seems everyone has a record of accomplishment except Dear Leader.

Everything they are touting is designed to anger and split the conservative base. I really don’t care if it’s Newt or Rick .

The up side, is that much of the stuff they are pitching cuts into their ability to paint Rick as this “right-wing, religious, nutcase radical in the general election. I hope he uses it well.

Face it. We are stuck with three stiffs. And one fruitcake.

I think Freddie Mac Daddy is probably the best of the bunch left.

The more I read, the more Rick Santorum bothers me. This is a serious concern. I am PRAYING for Newt. I believe he is the anti-establishment pit bull we need.

Go Newt!
