CUMMING, Ga. Herman Cain may no longer be seeking the GOP presidential nomination, but he still has plenty of fans in Georgia.
The erstwhile presidential candidate received a standing ovation at South Forsyth High School, where he introduced former House speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) at a county precinct meeting.
You know, I knew I had some friends in Forsyth County, Cain said, as the crowd cheered. But were here because we believe Newt Gingrich should be the next president of the United States in America.
And contrary to what the mainstream, lame-stream, lapdog media want you to believe, he can pull it out, he told them.
The former Godfathers Pizza chief executive identified three reasons why his former competitor deserves to be president: jobs, energy and bold ideas.
Referring to the economic plans of Gingrichs GOP opponents, Cain said, their proposals continue to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, adding that they replace old loopholes with new ones.

The funds raised in these FReepathons go to pay our current quarter expenses. But we're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little extra now, if we can, and the rest next quarter.

Why can't we all get along?
Your guy is endorsing Newt big time but not Santo. Gee, how come?
It speaks well to Gingrich that two of the three candidates who withdrew from the race have not only endorsed but are actively working for him now.
“Your guy is endorsing Newt big time but not Santo. Gee, how come?”
Newt has a plan.
OH, you mean those days when both Herman Cain and the backstabbing Santorum both picked Newt Gingrich for their VP choice? Those days, before Santorum started running attack ads against Newt Gingrich? Got it.
I noticed they were always making eyes at each other. ( ~ ;
I’d be pretty elated if Cain became Newt’s VP. I doubt it would happen, but it would be great. Cain could also help us out with the black vote as well. Back in the good old days before Cain got lynched, I had all my black friends in favor of 999 and supporting him. They had all voted for Obama in the previous election because he was black. (They told me so.)
A big secret is that they are actually far more conservative than most people realize. In fact, they don’t even realize it. They believe in all the hogwash about Republicans being racist, fat cats and other things. But if you actually discuss specific policies, they’re actually right on our same page. I had my best friend sitting there basically condemning every part of Obama’s policies, though she didn’t even know it. When you mention that, they have a problem accepting it. The propaganda is quite strong. But with Herman Cain, we have a powerful weapon, and a powerful good man, that defeats the core of the class-war/racist propaganda the left and popular culture peddles.
Amen, brother!
So you call yourself a Cain conservative, but then make a homosexual joke about Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich?
Two good men, Newt and Herman. Along with Rick Perry, they have so much to offer in helping our country. As another Freeper said on this thread, it speaks volumes that Newt has gotten the endorsement of the candidates that ran along side him.
With the exception of Ron Paul, who Mitt Romney has shamelessly brown-nosed, no one likes or trusts Mitt. Santorum doesn’t like him either, but he will definitely take the Santorum/Romney or Romney/Santorum deal being pushed by the GOP E. When that happens, “not Romney” voters are finally gonna see what Rick is really made of...Selfish Ambition and No Plan for our Country.
Was that from today in Cumming? I was there!
I wish that I could post a pic of my sign. I got my idea from a FRiend. Can you tell me how to post pics on the thread?
I noticed they were always making eyes at each other. ( ~ ;
Nah, it's more than that.
Gingrich's job is not to go to Washington to make friends in Congress or with the inside the DC beltway types. He's going to do his damndest to bust up that ole boys and girls network. You know, just the opposite what others do when they get to Washington. They join the DC elitist club. Alas like Ricky, who endorsed snarlin Arlen over Toomey:
"FELLOW PENNSYLVANIA SENATOR Rick Santorum has slavishly praised Specter in a television spot. Santorum also sent his own staff to buoy Specter's team in the field, and has told everyone within earshot that the primary challenger, Rep. Pat Toomey, is "too conservative for Pennsylvania." "

So what is Rick's excuse here? That he 'slavishly' endorsed liberal Specter over conservative Pat Toomey.
I like that pic! Newt looks so happy and “up”!
It seems like the lame-stream drive-bys are now pushing for a Santorum vs. barry match (their dream of mittens has gone bye bye,...sniffle sniffle and they know it).
They KNOW barry would kick his a$$. Would Santorum be better than barry? Heck, my crazy cats would be better than barry, but Santorum DOES NOT HAVE THE PUNCH!!
NEWT HAS TKO!!
Love it!! Is that from Newt’s website? I’d like to forward that on :)
That is one of the big reasons I was a Cain supporter back in 2004, during his Senate race, and was a Cain supporter again in 2011. In fact, I managed to point out my 2004 Cain pin (I still had it) to Mr. Cain last year with the observation that “Not all of us are Johnny-come-lately Herman Cain supporters.”
The other big reason was he was very much a fiscal conservative Washington outsider.
