This article is going to be much shorter than my normal writing because I really am nearly speechless on this one. It seems there was a disagreement on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives this morning over rules that say lobbyists are not allowed to speak on the House floor in favor of bills they are paying for, or supporting.

That level of emotion rather proves the point and the need for the legislation.
If your elected rep can’t make the point, there’s no need for a paid snake-oil salesman to stand in.
True “expert testimony” may be another matter, but there ought to be a way to address the difference.
We are no longer a nation of laws, hence, we are losing our “civilized” behavior.

I'd say, it's about time......Congress is too buddy-buddy today. Sure on-camera they appear to argue with each other, but behind close doors, they're all just big pals.
Nah, if you go read about it, it wasn’t that big a deal. Although the entire concept of the legislature considering whether February should be “Music Therapy Month” is beyond silly. As the author points out, they have much more important business to which they should be attending.
