This article is going to be much shorter than my normal writing because I really am nearly speechless on this one. It seems there was a “disagreement” on the floor of the Oklahoma House of Representatives this morning over rules that say lobbyists are not allowed to speak on the House floor in favor of bills they are paying for, or supporting.

That level of emotion rather proves the point and the need for the legislation.
If your elected rep can’t make the point, there’s no need for a paid snake-oil salesman to stand in.

True “expert testimony” may be another matter, but there ought to be a way to address the difference.

We are no longer a nation of laws, hence, we are losing our “civilized” behavior.

Throwing fists? What a joke! Break out the dueling pistols like the days of old!

@5 Famous Duels From American History

At least read the last one about "The Twain-Laird Duel".
Finally, we end in a duel that neither came to fruition nor is invested with any great historical significance. But it is quite funny.

The political class has nearly accomplished its mission of having us trade places with the Third World. What the pandering, lipservice majority of the political class doesn't know while subconsciously beginning to fear so, is that it is also in the process of joining us peasants as part of the deal.

I'd say, it's about time......Congress is too buddy-buddy today. Sure on-camera they appear to argue with each other, but behind close doors, they're all just big pals.

Nah, if you go read about it, it wasn’t that big a deal. Although the entire concept of the legislature considering whether February should be “Music Therapy Month” is beyond silly. As the author points out, they have much more important business to which they should be attending.
