Murfreesboro teacher in sex case

A Murfreesboro High School teacher surrendered herself to Hempstead County authorities Thursday morning in connection with a series of sexual liaisons she allegedly carried on in Hempstead County with a Murfreesboro student for more than a year.
Monica Lee Teel, 27, of Murfreesboro, surrendered to the Hempstead County Sheriff's Office about 9 a.m. Thursday, Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton said. Singleton said Teel is a civics teacher at Murfreesboro High School, and she surrendered in connection with an investigation into an alleged sexual affair with one of her students.
“The Crimes Against Children Division of the Arkansas State Police notified sheriff's investigators of an incident that had been reported where a teacher and one of her students were meeting at a cabin in Northern Hempstead County to have sex,” Singleton said.

Another young high school teacher giving her student extra credit in the worst way. This is becoming commonplace. Maybe Playboy can do a centerfold series, “the naighty teachers of our public schools.”

Maybe we need a minimum age for high school teachers; say, 60. At 27 some could be taken for students.
