Welcome to the 2012 Nascar racing season and our 11th year of posting&hosting race threads.
We've come a long way since 2001. We've seen wars and battles and friends and adversaries come and go but if there has been any one thing that has driven us here, it is a desire to 'Support Our Troops' in any way we can or to at least Thank Them for their service and to keep the flame of freedom and liberty burning for all of those who have and will serve our country.
Daytona is just the start of 9 months worth of racing.. Stand By to GiDDYuP!

So much work making these bodies aero smooth, so fast they get shredded.
Yep. I don't like the rule change. I knew this was going to happen. It is not just about driver behavior. There is absolutely no room for error with pack racing. Millions of dollars in hard work flushed with a stupid rule change. JMHO.

Lap 81 — CHECKERED FLAG: Kyle Busch pushes Tony Stewart into the lead. Busch edges to the outside coming to the stripe and scores the win by inches.
Lap 80 — GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart, Marcos Ambrose, Clint Bowyer, Brad Keselowski are the front four. Ambrose is pushed into the lead by Keselowski. Ryan Newman goes to third.

Never heard of that TAG Oil Company, the sponsor for Kurt Bush tonight. Looked it up.
It is an oil exploration company. Quote from them:
"Our strategy is to secure world-class investment opportunities (International Oil and Gas Exploration) and thus create shareholder value."
Strange kind of a company to be sponsoring a NASCAR car.
What a wild ending to this race.
