I remember a movie about the era in Germany just prior to the Second World War, when Hitler was in power and a renter asked his landlady about some crazy statement that was being put out by the government and just how she could believe such nonsense. She responded: “Well, I read it in the Volkische Beobachter”. Certainly, the circustances are different today but the idea is the same; feed enough propaganda, disguise it as “news” and far too many people will buy into it, unthinkingly. Thus, you can have Charlie Rose (of NPR, funded with our tax money) ask Santroum about his views on some joke one of his supporters told but the same Charlie Rose’s idea of a tough question to a lib Dem whom he agrees with is, “well, when are you going to follow your wife’s advice and stop eating cheeseburgers?” with nary a word about scandalous conduct by close associates, in the past or present, much less a slightly critical word concerning any supporter of that politician.

true and what NAZI Germany showed us that even after the war there were still Germans who still refused to believe the facts and that they were lied to.

In a way I can understand those who do not follow politics, the left surely knows they have the media but there are still some on our side who still cannot grasp the basic point of the media lies and covers for the left or why on earth does the RNC/GOP not call these people out every day.
