On Fox News last night, Mitt Romney dismissed Rick Santorums Rombo ad, which features a Mitt Romney look-alike shooting mud at a cardboard cutout of a smiling Santorum, as the the most negative ad Ive seen, so far, per GOP12.
Look, its not something Im going to whine about, Romney added. I know theres some candidates that want to whine about the fact that you go back-and-forth and talk about the distinctions between one another.

Look, its not something Im going to whine about, Romney whined.”
And then he proceeds to whine about it.
Mitt after the crap you pulled with Cain and Newt all I have to say is
POT MEET KETTLE, KETTLE MEET POT
Or a more succinct translation: KMA you RINO clymer!
There, I fixed it.
LOL what a baby.
Apparently Mittykins can’t laugh at himself.
Not something he’s “going to wine about”? Then Romney proceeds... to wine? OK! If we want a winer in the Whitehouse we’ll just keep the current occupant. (Ugh! Did I just say that?)
Mitt is right on one score — using humor to ridicule your opponent is the most effective way to go negative. Santorum’s Rombo ad may not be the most negative ad of the season, but it is very effective — and innoculates Santorum against Mitt’s negative ads.
Mitt needs to take notes, not whine.
(Why don’t more politicians use humor? Making Obama a joke is the most effective way to attack Obama.)
He serves sleaze with his whine.
Look, its not something Im going to whine about, Romney whined.
Hahahah!
[Good one, ngat]
Obi-Wan Kenobi - “Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view”.
And for that reason my respect for Santorum has grown. Mitt has been nasty, Obama- like.
When I saw that Hannity was going to give Mitt a platform to whine from, I simply turned the TV off and went back to reading a good book.
Hannity has turned into a little girl and I really don’t like his format at all anymore (not that I liked it much back when he still dealt with issues in a manly way).
It’s this childish fascination with rumor and gossip that is ruining our political system and honorable journalists should be campaigning AGAINST it, not actively participating in it.
And this was after having listened to BOR’s opening monologues, being faintly impressed and agreeing to stay on, only to be visually assaulted with the proverbially mendacious and contumacious Marc Lamont Hill, alleged PhD from Temple. One sneer from that fatuous face and it was ‘CLICK’!
Of course, Romney doesn’t have any idea what ads HIS superPACs are running. That’s part of his “blind trust”.
I would make a star wars themed ad showing Mitt dressed as Darth Vader telling a crowd “I am my father” and then have a narrator remind the viewer that Mitt isn’t his father and shouldn’t try to run on his father’s legacy of success. It slaps Mitt at the same time it’s fairly friendly to George Romney.
You could do a whole series of them.
Another could show Mitt dressed as Obi Wan saying “This is the Romney you’re looking for” and the narrator warning the viewer to not allow Romney tricks to fool you.
Such a hypocrite-and not true (the most negative is his slander of Newt—along with the collusion of the psuedo-conservative MSM).
the most negative ad Ive seen, so far,
Well that’s because he goes out of his way to not see the ads produced by his own PAC. It’s a typical politician’s idea of being honest.
Santorum and Newt shouldn’t even respond to this. Stay on point and get their message out. Stay on the offense, not defense.
