"You can see the full story at the link."

I read it. From the "article": "Politicians and conspiracy theorists, sometimes referred to as birthers, have sought to disqualify Obama from running for president, being sworn into office and running for re-election. They have claimed Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and consequently ineligible to be president."

No one is trying to "disqualify" Mr. "Obama" from anything. They're asking him to demonstrate that he is qualified. Big difference. "In 2008, Obama released documents from Hawaii regarding his birth. He also released last year a certified copy of his original certificate of live birth from Hawaii.

Funny, I must've missed the part where "Obama" displayed anything other than online images of his so-called "documents".

It's a Journ-O-List type opinion piece masquerading as a "news" story. And if the intellectual firepower on display in the comments section is any indication of the sentiments of the average Kansan, then it's going to be an uphill climb, to put it mildly.

Previous eligibility bills ahve been an “uphill climb” in other states. It’s rare they get to this point. Kansas has a strong blue state tradition and this is coupled with a voter ID bill, so there appears to be a strong sentiment behind it.
