Probably not - after all he is a politician.

On the other hand, we need a leader and have none. We don’t need someone reading the news to determine their position.

We already have way too many of those folks. Sorry, Gingrich is not that leader and unfortunately, none of the other GOP candidates are either...

We have no Reagan, no Thatcher, and no leader stepping forward. This during our defining moment in history - really bad timing...for us!

What do you mean by “we”? More like “your” view to me.

I think today, more than ever, we need a President who's able to keep up with what's actually happening in the world and is able to articulate his message accordingly (without changing stances).

Technology allows information to move very freely and quickly, and national sentiment can be swayed or not very quickly. Either the campaign and the candidate is in tune, or not.

Personally, I think Gingrich is our Reagan, our Thatcher; he is the most appropriate fit for this time in global history, in respect to both internal and external policy stance and (expressed) thinking.

I don't think much of politicians, but they are an important part of human activity, and we should strive for the best of what's available in light of current conditions locally and internationally.
